The Sharks very own Marathon Man, Will Bertie ran the Malaga Full Marathon this weekend. Managing a very impressive time of 4.30 hrs. Will ran the Marathon to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research. Well done Will, tremendous effort and for a worthy cause that has touched all of us one way or another. Please spare a moment and donate to Wills just giving page. Not all Heroes wear capes, sometimes a Sharks training vest is all you need to get the job done 👊

We’re gearing up for a bumper day of this Saturday. All 6 teams will be in action at Europa Sports Park, with kick-offs at 12pm, 3pm & 5pm!

The were in action at the weekend & though we may not have got the result we were after, we’d like to thank our opponents & hosts Marbella Rugby for a great game of rugby.

The game saw an inexperienced squad, made up of players from all 4 clubs within the come together for the first time to face a well drilled side, who recently played National level in Spain.

The ‘invitational’ nature of the Barbarians meant that a lot of the squad had never played together before. Nevertheless, these fixtures give our players an opportunity to compete at a higher level, gain some valuable playing time & experience. Well done to all that were selected to represent the GRC Barbarians for their first fixture this year. Onwards & Upwards & best of luck once again to great hosts Marbella RFC on their league season 🤝.
