Whether you're going for the full 42.2 km, the half-marathon, or the Polar Bear Challenge, this is a race unlike anything else. The route crosses frozen tundra, gravel roads, and a loop directly onto the Greenland Ice Sheet, with temperatures that can drop to -15°C.

From an optional pre-night in Copenhagen with a relaxed tapas dinner, your journey begins.👟

Then it’s off to Kangerlussuaq, where you’ll explore the Arctic, walk on the ice sheet, and discover the race route.

As race day approaches, the excitement builds whether you take on the half-marathon, full marathon, or the Polar Bear Challenge.💪

The Korean TV personality Kian84, Hwawoon Kwon, and Kangnam took on the challenge of the Extreme 84 by joining the Polar Circle Marathon 2025, documenting their entire race week, from arrival to the final stretch.
