Jeg underviser i yoga, meditation og åndedræt med fokus på nærvær og bevidsthed. At være her lige nu og her Prisen er afhængig af hvilket medlemskab du vælger.

Min tilgang er inspireret af mine rejser til Indien og Nepal, hvor jeg arbejder med witnessing – at kunne være opmærksom uden at dømme. Jeg har lige afholdt et lille retreat for en fantastisk gruppe, og wow – energien var helt magisk. 🙏 Selvom programmet var intenst, bar alle deres gode energi ind i rummet. Selv når kroppen var træt og øm, gav de nærvær, smil og hjerterum, og det jeg gav fik jeg så mange gange igen. 💛

En særlig tak til Rikke, Jan Robert, Thomas, Michael og Charlotte, som hjalp med praktiske ting, lækre boller, kage og sauna-gus – I løftede hele oplevelsen. 🙌

Det er simpelthen sådan en gave at være vidne til, hvordan mennesker bringer deres lys ind og deler det med hinanden. Hvad kan man ønske sig mere? Tak, tak, tak – fra mit hjerte og helt op til himlen. 🌿✨💫

Hvis nogen har lyst afholder jeg en lille spontan yoga event med fokus på åndedræt og meditation. I dag kl. 14 til ca. kl. 16 Østergade 1 1. sal. Der er 3 ledige pladser og eventet er gratis.

Up to 70% of women report feeling irritable during perimenopause which can include mood changes such as anger and rage. These changes can be sudden and extreme and can take you by surprise. You may notice that your patience has decreased and that the most minor things set you off. You may feel resentment bordering on hostility towards your partner or children

You are not going crazy. This ebb and flow occurs because your estrogen levels are fluctuating and decreasing over time. Serotonin has also decreased, and your estrogen-serotonin balance is out of whack. Also, progesterone levels fall during perimenopause, and estrogen may become the dominant hormone, leading to irritability and depression. The imbalance of hormones can spark spontaneous, difficult-to-control episodes of rage.

Lack of sleep due to perimenopause can make feelings of rage worse - you feel less able to cope.

There is a lot you can do to support yourself:

Diet: mental health and diet are more intertwined than you might think. Reducing sugar and alcohol can be helpful, along with increasing Omega 3 fatty acid intake in the form of fish, nuts and seeds and eat to keep blood sugar balanced.

Exercise: 30 minutes of movement a day can improve mood swings and anxiety. Lift some weight and get out for a walk.

Breathwork/meditation: can be very beneficial for irritation, anxiety and mood changes along with mindfulness meditation can be very supportive.
 
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: there’s a great deal of evidence that CBT can help with a range of menopause symptoms including depression and anxiety.

Medication: Speak to your doctor about hormone replacement therapy to support menopause symptoms
