This was never easy but since there is nothing startlingly new about sports in general and swimming in particular, we have made it happen.
The Gambia Swimming & Aquatic Sports Association (GSASA) was a brainchild of two young sport enthusiasts, Yorro Njie and Cherno Krubally who felt that those Gambian habitual swimmers could be organized into a more structured manner, by forming them into clubs that would be functional and competing among themselves. Since 2008, they have been on constant consultation with people involved in Aquatic
activities either as a Sport or for recreation. Thank God that those efforts never went in vain. IMPORTANCE OF SWIMMING (is many fold)
