The NSC is the apex government body responsible for overseeing, regulating, and promoting sports development in The Gambia.
Operating under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the NSC serves as the key link between the government and sports associations. The Gambia National Sports Council (NSC) was established by the National Sports Act passed by the National Assembly in 2000.
