Essau youth sports and development association is formed by committed and genuine youths of ESSAU in june 2011 to revitalise sports within the community football in particular.

This was done as a result of a need to revamp football within niumi following a slow pace of football development despite the efforts made by our predecessor.

We are growing and intend to move faster with the support from football lovers around the world.

Our commitment, innovative, and fair play gave teams and other communities in lower and upper niumi district the opportunity to register with us during of tournaments.

The ground registered successful gains such as fencing the field, erecting perimeter fence and a shade without any sponsors but from our gate takings.

We currently need assistance to upgrade the pitch to a standard football friendly Zone for our youths to the equal opportunities.

Community members also use our tournaments to make ends meet by selling food during matches.

We must thank the youths for entrusting us the responsibility to rejuvenate sports within the community.
