Wagadu FC extends its heartfelt and sincere congratulations to our esteemed Club President, Mr. Muhammad M. Jagana, on his election unopposed as the First Vice President of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) for the next four years.

His visionary leadership has played a significant role in guiding Wagadu FC to greater heights, and we are immensely proud to see him entrusted with an even greater responsibility at the national level.

We have every confidence that the same passion, integrity, and leadership he has demonstrated at our club will continue to inspire his service to Gambian football..

Wagadu FC also extends its warm congratulations to Mr. Kemo Ceesay, leader of the “The Coach” team, on his election as the new President of the Gambia Football Federation, as well as to the entire elected executive team.

We are pleased to confirm that our star player of the season, Abubacarr Njie, has been called up to the Gambia national U20 preliminary squad which begins training on Monday.

Abubacarr was instrumental in our stay in the GFF League Division Two, scoring 14 goals and providing 2 assists. 🐍

Wagadu FC extends our deepest and heartfelt condolences to Sibanor Football Club following the tragic passing of their player, Modou Saidy.

We extend our sincere sympathies to the entire Sibanor FC family, Modou’s teammates, coaches, friends, relatives and all those who knew and loved him during this difficult time.

The loss of a young footballer is deeply painful, and our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the entire Sibanor community as they mourn this great loss.

May Allah forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, friends, teammates and loved ones the strength and patience to bear this heartbreaking loss.

Wagadu FC extends its heartfelt congratulations to Sabi United on their well-deserved promotion to the GFF League Division Two following a remarkable campaign.

For the first time in history, URR will have two clubs competing in The Gambia’s national leagues, this is a major milestone for football in the region. We welcome our brothers, Sabi United, to this stage.

Mind you, we are not playing derbies 😂

We are pleased to announce that our young striker Hamidou Faye has left for Ukraine to join Dynamo Kyiv on a two months trials.

Hamidou first performed at trials with another Ukrainian giant, FC Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this year.

We wish Hamidou, the very best of luck 🐍🤞🏽

We wrap up our season with a 1-0 win over Kanifing East to maintain our status in the national league 2 for the third straight season.

Abubacarr Njie scored yet again to reach 13 goals and surpassed the season record to become our top scorer in a single campaign beating the previous holder Muhamadou Kanteh (12).

He now has 15 goals contribution…🔥
