Gambia Karate Federation

The Gambia Karate Federation (GKF) proudly participated in the Sports Administrators Course organised by the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) at the Olympic House in Bakau.

GKF was represented at the five-day training programme which brought together officials from various national sports associations and federations across The Gambia.

The course provided valuable insights on key areas including sports governance, leadership, athlete welfare, safeguarding, communication, financial management, anti-doping, and Olympic values.

We sincerely thank the Gambia National Olympic Committee, course directors, facilitators, and fellow participants for a well-organised and impactful training opportunity.

Together, we continue to grow karate and advance sports development in The Gambia.

GKF TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP 2026 CONCLUDES SUCCESSFULLY 🏆🥋

The Gambia Karate Federation successfully concluded its 2026 Team Championship, bringing together talented athletes from different karate clubs across the country in a spirit of discipline, sportsmanship, and excellence.

The championship featured exciting performances in both Kata and Kumite categories, with athletes showcasing remarkable skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the competition.

Congratulations to all participating clubs, athletes, coaches, referees, officials, and supporters for making the event a success.

🏅 Some of the top-performing clubs included Waza United, Scorpion, Dragon 2, Black Eagle Farafenni, Daraji Family, and Kindaiz.
