The community of Manneh K***a has today embarked on a self-help initiative known as “Tesito” to fence the community football field.

This important initiative aims to secure and improve the football facility, create an income-generating avenue for the football club, and provide a better space for social and youth activities within the community and its surroundings.

However, the community is still seeking support from the government, NGOs, philanthropists, and individuals to make this project a lasting reality for future generations.

For those willing to support, contributions can be made through the club’s AGIB Bank account or via the treasurer’s Wave number.

Kuteh Jombulu FC narrowly defeated Angal Futa FC in the ongoing URR-FA Third Division League on April 25, 2026, at the Basse Mini Stadium.

In a well-contested match, both sides created several goal-scoring opportunities in the first half but failed to convert, ending the first half goalless.

The second half followed a similar pattern, with both teams pushing forward in search of a breakthrough. However, in the 79th minute, Kuteh Jombulu’s Muhammed Konteh rose to meet a cross and headed the ball cheaply into the back of the net, scoring the decisive goal.

Kuteh Jombulu FC maintained their composure throughout the five minutes of added time, holding on to secure all three points.

Tabanding Football Club secured a convincing 3-0 win over Kuteh Jombul Football Club in their second group game of the URRFA Third Division League at the Fatoto School Field on Sunday.

Tabanding FC's persistent dominance paid off in the 51st minute when they were awarded a penalty which was calmly converted by Yusupha Camara to give the hosts the lead.

Three minutes from the first goal, Jatta Jaiteh doubled the lead for Tabanding despite a protest from the visitors calling for an offside but central referee Alhagie K Touray remained firm on his decision.

The game encountered an interruption by home fans forcing the competition chairperson of the URRFA, who was in attendance, to order a halt until calm is restored.

The match resumed. An additional 13 minutes was added prompting the Kuteh team to question the insufficiency of the minutes. This paid for the hosts as they scored their third goal at the death through Muhammed Kolly to put the game to bed.

Thank you Saibending Konteh!

Saibeh Konteh, widely known as Saibending, has once again demonstrated his commitment to grassroots football development by donating football socks, footballs, and training bibs to Kuteh Jombulu Football Club.

The presentation took place at the residence of the club’s president in Manneh K***a, Basse, in the presence of club officials and community members.

This latest donation adds to a series of contributions by Saibending, who has over the years supported the club with football equipment and financial assistance, aimed at strengthening youth participation and sustaining community football activities.

Speaking on behalf of the club, the management, technical staff, players, fans club and residents of Manneh K***a, the first vice president of the club Mr Gibril expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful as the club continues to struggle for support.

The club’s management also called on other community members and stakeholders to emulate Saibending by supporting the team in any capacity: financially, materially, or morally, emphasising that Kuteh Jombulu Football Club remains a community-driven initiative where every contribution matters.

Thank you once again, Mr Konteh! We have that Allah makes provisions for easier so that you good intentions for the club can be fulfilled!
