Lion Stars Football Academy battled to a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Mayas FA at Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Our boys showed great determination, discipline, and fighting spirit from the first whistle to the last, creating chances but unfortunately unable to find the winning goal.

A standout performance came from our goalkeeper, who made several crucial saves to keep a clean sheet and was deservedly named Man of the Match after the final whistle.

Lion Stars Football Academy yesterday experienced its first defeat of the season in the Gambia Academy Football Federation (GAFF) U17 League, losing 1–0 to ESOHNA FA at the Gunjur Nyamina Football Field.

The Blue Boys showed great determination and fighting spirit throughout the match, but a single goal separated the two sides at the final whistle. Despite the result, the team remains focused and committed to achieving its objectives this season.

Defeat is part of football, and every setback provides an opportunity to learn, improve, and come back stronger. We are proud of the effort displayed by our players and technical staff.

We thank all our supporters for standing behind the team and promise to work harder as we prepare for our next fixture in the GAFF U17 League.

Lion Stars Football Academy has started a new journey with Kairo Brand in the Gambia Academy U-17 League.

We began the campaign with an important victory in our opening match, where Dimingo Bouya was named Man of the Match after scoring the only goal of the game and securing all three points for the team.

As part of this exciting partnership, Kairo Brand will present a special gift to Dimingo Bouya in recognition of his outstanding performance. The presentation will take place during our next match at Bakau Mini Stadium 🏟️.
