F4p R4p 2025 training sessions

We are excited to share the incredible success of the F4P Peace The Gambia Three Days Training, held in Gunjur upper basic school in collaboration with Oathall School from England, the Gunjur Project, Gunjur Sports Committee, Gunjur Athletics Team, and Gunjur Red Cross. This inspiring event, themed “Uniting Communities Through Sports,” brought together young participants for a transformative experience filled with learning, teamwork, and celebration.

The first two days focused on values based learning and life skills training through sports, empowering participants with essential tools to foster unity, leadership, and personal growth. The third day was a vibrant sports festival, featuring exciting participation in football, rugby, and athletics. The energy and spirit of togetherness were truly unforgettable.

Medals and certificates were presented to honor the participants' dedication and achievements at the end of the festival, celebrating their hard work and commitment to the values of peace and teamwork.
We use this medium to thank Oathall School for their incredible partnership and support, Gunjur Project for their unwavering commitment to community development, Gunjur Sports Committee, Gunjur Athletics Team, and Gunjur Red Cross, for their invaluable contributions, and to all partners, invitees, and participants for making this event a resounding success.

💩💰🐛 Can your toilet generate income? This recycled toilet can turn human waste into money. Designed by a Kenyan start-up Saniwise, the toilet uses black soldier fly larvae to turn human waste into organic manure and animal feed. The toilet, which is made from recycled glass and plastic, can be used by communities to generate income as well as improve sanitation and hygiene. #WorldToiletDay
