At the Athletic Club of Kerameikos we teach the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts (T.C.M.A.) of Eagle Claw Kung Fu
and of the Internal Family Boxing, (Xing Yi, Tai Ji, Ba Gua). In particular, we teach the principles of the above arts:
The Eagle Claw style demands speed and accuracy. Ba Gua demands equilibrium in alterations. Tai Ji demands response. The new student begins training with the Eagle
Claw and Xing Yi, two arts that match and supplement each other, while at a more high level, one studies Tai Ji and Ba Gua. We use these techniques in order to cultivate the Kung Fu of the students, instead of trying to adjust the student to the styles. If someone wishes to train, elaborate or to be taught only one of the above arts, he can contact the trainer of the club for private lessons. One can register during the whole year. We wish you all a good year, with knowledge and health, patience and determination. also is actively taking part in championships organized by the Hellenic Federation of Wushu-Kung Fu, the International Wushu Federation, as well as in other international competitions. Its success includes:
1st team place in the 5th Pan-Hellenic Wushu Kung Fu Championship, Category A’ (2004)
1st team place in the 6th Pan-Hellenic Championship, Category A’ (2005)
1st team place in the 7th Pan-Hellenic Championship, Category A’ (2006)
2nd team place in the 1st Mediterranean Cap in Catania, Sicily (4/5-6-2004), (women-men)
In October 2004, 2 athletes and the chief instructor of the Club took part, along with the National team, at the 1st World Traditional Wushu Festival in Ghengzhou, in China, and won one 1st place, one 4th and one 6th. . In 2006, at the 2nd World Traditional Wushu Championship, won two 1st, two 2nd, one 4th, one 6th and one 7th place. In 2008, at the 3rd World Traditional Wushu Championship A.C.K.. was part of the National Team with 4 athletes. The instructor of the Club Doukas Dimitris accompanied them as a coach of the National Team. The athletes succeeded in wining one 1st, two 3rd and one 5th places.
