TP52 Bullet Sailing Team

Once again Aegean Rally winners!
After a small absence from the rally, the team is back, winning titles in the Aegean! After a tough week with competition pushing the team beyond its comfort zone, gold medals are hanging since yesterday from everyone’s necks.

After a short absence from the Posidonia Regatta the team made a triumphant return winning line honors and the performance division! Many thanks to TotalEnergies for making it all possible!

Another bullet for bullet!
In extreme low wind and tricky conditions, the team managed to get the job done and score a first place in the Yacht Club of Greece Winter Series! The winter series is a demanding series of regattas with lots of quality participation and always provides a high level of competition. Thus, Bullet Sailing Team traditionally closes the season with the series to enjoy competitive sailing at its best!

No wonder they call it “the toughest race”. Sailors always experience extreme conditions: Either high seas and fierce winds or extreme calm. There is no average conditions to be served to the crews.
Our team performed adequately in the longest leg of the series, taking line honours and scoring a second overall! Nevertheless, the shorter return leg from Andros, featured a really tricky extreme low wind race course which left our team off the podium.
On top, sailing to Andros, our bowman, George, was injured and had to be transferred back to Athens and be hospitalised. Our thoughts are with him and we all wish him a speedy comeback!

Lifting of the COVID curfew has found all of the Bullet crew safe and healthy! The team was able to sail again this weekend after months of absence.
The team managed to celebrate its new partner, Total Lubmarine, by winning, this year's edition of Athens Trophy, defending the title once more, in arguably very tough competition, proving that the long break has not affected the team's performance!

Line honors and podium once again for the team in this, COVID-19 impacted, edition of Aegean Sailing Rally.
54 hours, 46 minutes and 14 seconds. This is all the sailing it took to achieve this.
Tricky, slow and frustrating it has been. Nonetheless, it will take much more to compensate for the sailing we've missed through the quarantine!

Consistency, hard work, team spirit.
These elements are part of the recipe that allowed our team to top, once again, the annual ranking list.
2019 has been perhaps the most challenging year for the team and yet we managed to pull it through!

Our promise for 2020 is to keep up with the results we are acquainted to yield and to keep pushing. Our boundaries. Our boat. Ourselves.

Winning once again this weekend and entering the podium for the whole winter series is the seasons’ closing that one would expect from the team.
A full and fruitful racing year, couldn’t have ended in a better way!

Nevertheless, the team’s thirst to keep sailing faster, to keep improving and to keep beating itself is never satisfied. All our minds are traveling to the new challenges the new season shall bring!

Podium again and line honors for the team!
It took a challenging week and almost 400 demanding miles in the heart of the Aegean Sea, to secure line honors and yet another victory for the team.
The team sailed consistently and pushed the boat to its limits, despite high seas and wind: the end of the known world to everyone on board!
