Thank you very much Ballangen.
Titan Kalyves WF has visited Ballangen (Narvik) in Northern Norway and the surrounding areas for 9 days and must be the last day and trip for the return trip. It has been 9 days of experiences, Walking Football and beautiful nature. The weather has not been great, but we were lucky with the most important days (Football and Efjord).
We have been to Ballangen Sjøfarm and got to see how a fish farm is operated, we have experienced Narvik with the Fish Hall and a visit to the fantastic Second World War War Memorial Museum.
The Arctic train took us from Narvik and to the Swedish border in a spectacular nature experience. We have visited Lars Inge at the cabin in Melkedalen, the cabin Frode stayed at all the summers in his childhood. We were in the more beautiful Erfjord and fished. But unfortunately we only got sausages roasted on a fire 😔😆
We got to experience a full house at the Sentrumsbygget in Ballangen when all 7 teams in the tournament were handed out their kits one by one to music and cheers from the attendees. There were also hundreds of spectators on Friday and Saturday who came to watch the full march-in and lots of great Walking Football matches. Titan Kalives Kreta Eiendom team made a fantastic effort and scored many goals 🖤💛 On Saturday after the matches there was a party in Kjeldebotn. Country Festival with famous Norwegian artists, stalls with good food and lots of drinks 😉 The evening/night ended with a fantastic sunset/sunrise with a red glowing sky ☀️🕐🌕 Many thanks to Ballangen FK and Celebrity Chef Thomas for a fantastic party dinner with salmon from the fantastic sponsor Ballangen Sjøfarm. They deserve an extra big thank you. Also many thanks to our own sponsor Kreta Eiendom who paid the Ballangen FK Registration fee for the cup. Ballangen FK is a small club (like Titan) and it was a welcome cash boost for them after this event. The club is left with a total of €21,000 🥰 So thank you to Titan's players and supporters, thank you to the organizers, thank you to Ballangen Sjøfarm, Ballangen FK and all the people we have met.
