Νικητής στο 9ο Lesvos Trail το Αθλητικό Ιδεώδες!
Πραγματοποιήθηκαν την Κυριακή 20 Σεπτεμβρίου 2026 για άλλη μία χρονιά, οι Διεθνείς Αγώνες δρόμου βουνού Lesvos Trail. Η πλατεία του όμορφου Λεπέτυμνου γέμισε από αθλητές, εθελοντές και πολλά παιδιά. Οι αγώνες διοργανώθηκαν για 9η φορά από τον Φορέα Τουρισμού Μολύβου.
Η συμμετοχή ήταν μεγάλη και οι αθλητές που συμμετείχαν στους αγώνες των 15 χλμ και των 6 χλμ, έτρεξαν στα πανέμορφα μονοπάτια του ορεινού όγκου του Λεπετύμνου και στα μονοπάτια της Λεσβιακής φύσης, ακολουθώντας τη σήμανση των περιπατητικών διαδρομών.
Πάνω από 25 εθελοντές βοήθησαν με συν εργατικότητα να πραγματοποιηθούν οι αγώνες και πάνω από 20 παιδιά ξαναέβαλαν τα αθλητικά τους παπούτσια και πήρανε μέρος, με μεγάλο ενθουσιασμό στον αγώνα LEPETYMNOS RUN KIDS 1χλμ. Τα χειροκροτήματα και τα γέλια των παιδιών ολοκλήρωσαν την πανηγυρική ατμόσφαιρα.
Στο τέλος της ημέρας πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι βραβεύσεις και όλοι οι παρευρισκόμενοι που ήρθανε από όλο το νησί, μικροί και μεγάλοι, είχανε την ευκαιρία να απολαύσουν το μικρό υπαίθριο πάρτι λήξης με μουσική και φαγητό. Η εμπειρία πια στη διοργάνωση τέτοιου είδους εκδηλώσεων εξασφάλισε την ομαλή ροή των αγώνων, αλλά και την ικανοποίηση όλων.
Το 9ο Lesvos Trail διοργανώθηκε από τον Φορέα Τουρισμού Μολύβου σε συνεργασία με την Περιφέρεια Βορείου Αιγαίου, τον Δήμο Δυτικής Λέσβου και την Τοπική Κοινότητα Λεπετύμνου. Είχε την υποστήριξη της Γενικής Γραμματείας Αιγαίου & Νησιωτικής Πολιτικής και υποστηρίχθηκε δυναμικά από φορείς και χορηγούς.

The Sporting Spirit Triumphs at the 9th Lesvos Trail!
The 9th Lesvos Trail took place on Sunday, September 20, 2026, once again bringing athletes, volunteers, and many children together in the beautiful village square of Lepetymnos. The races were organized for the ninth consecutive year by the Molyvos Tourism Association.
Participation was high, with athletes taking part in the 15 km and 6 km races, running along the beautiful trails of Mount Lepetymnos and through the stunning natural landscape of Lesvos, following the marked hiking routes.
More than 25 volunteers worked tirelessly to help ensure the successful organization of the races, while more than 20 children put on their running shoes and enthusiastically took part in the LEPETYMNOS RUN KIDS 1 km race. The applause and laughter of the children completed the festive atmosphere of the event.
At the end of the day, the award ceremonies took place, followed by a small outdoor closing party with music and food. Participants and visitors from all over the island, both young and old, had the opportunity to celebrate together. The organizers’ experience in hosting events of this kind once again ensured the smooth running of the races and the satisfaction of everyone involved.
The 9th Lesvos Trail was organized by the Molyvos Tourism Association, in cooperation with the North Aegean Regional Authority, the Municipality of West Lesvos, and the Lepetymnos Local Community. The event was supported by the General Secretariat for the Aegean and Island Policy, as well as by a strong network of organizations and sponsors.
