Remembering Carlo Borlenghi. 📷⛵

The sailing world has lost one of its greatest storytellers.

With profound sadness, we said goodbye to Carlo Borlenghi, whose images inspired generations of sailors and enthusiasts of sailing. Through his lens, he captured not only the beauty and power of our sport, but also the emotions, dedication and spirit that define it.

It was an honor to welcome Carlo to the AEGEAN 600 in 2023, where he documented our race with the same passion and artistry that made his work renowned around the world.

His photographs will continue to inspire us and his legacy will live on every time we look at the sea through a camera lens.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the entire sailing community.

Fair winds, Carlo. 💙

AEGEAN 600 2026: Day 6 Race Analysis

Offshore race commentator Dobbs Davis gives his final race analysis show for this 6th edition of the AEGEAN 600. He explains that all but two teams are finished, and those two have 35 miles of more light air to get to Cape Sounion. He then gives an overall summary and review of the race this year, explaining how the challenging conditions of wind and weather on the Aegean Sea has shaped this to be an epic race: fast for the largest and fastest boats, a little slower for the smaller and slower boats, but still fun for all.

A match-race finish, offshore style.

The Line Honours battle came down to minutes, with Prosecco DOC Shockwave³ crossing first in 2d 0h 8m 27s, followed closely by Aiolos just 2m 9s later.

Behind them, the fight continued: Palanad 4 and Daguet 5 pushing hard in a French battle, with Palanad 4 emerging as provisional Overall Winner, while Aiolos secured the provisional Maxi win.

From full Meltemi conditions to tricky tactical moments, this edition delivered everything: speed, pressure, waves, strategy, and a finish to remember below the Temple of Poseidon. As Andrea Micalli put it, it was “fantastic… very scary though, but fantastic.”

This is the AEGEAN 600.

Line Honours Monohull winner, Prosecco DOC Shockwave³.

Behind the result, there is more than speed. There is preparation, trust, crew work, and a boat brought to the line ready to perform.

After 605 nautical miles across the Aegean, the team crossed first and closed a fantastic AEGEAN 600 experience with a powerful win.

Congratulations to the crew on an outstanding performance.
