During Merels Bootcamp, not only did she achieve becoming a PADI🌐 Divemaster, but she also discovered a new talent for underwater photography during her Digital Underwater Photography Speciality Course.
Progressing with Dive2gether's in-house photographer, John, Merel upped her game by learning the advanced settings and extra equipment to spend a dive focusing on wide angle shooting of divers, and a dive macro shooting for the Mediterranean marine life here in Crete! 🤿🇬🇷

1. Striped Trapiana. (Trapania lineata)
2. Tricolor Doris. (Hypselodoris tricolor)
3, Giesbrecht's Flatworm. (Prostheceraeus giesbrechti)
4. Yellow Tylodina. (Tylodina perversa)
5. Giant Doris. (Felimare picta)

Astonishingly all of these colorful and unusual Nudibranchs, and the Flatworm, were all spotted on a single dive at Paligremnos Wall here in Plakias, Crete. 🇬🇷
Renowned for having eagle eyes, Sabrina was blown away to discover so many rare treats at one diving site and, to our delight, captured these fantastic images to be able to document and share! 🤙🤿

EFR With Vanessa.
The one day Emergency First Response First Aid Course teaches all of the procedures and techniques for dealing with a medical emergency that someone might encounter in a real life situation. 🚑
Bootcampers Aiden, Emily, Femke, and Quinlan enjoyed learning how to respond to these scearios by practicing how to assess a scene, giving primary care, such as bandaging and splinting, as well as CPR and defibrillator use.
Fantastic tutorship by Vanessa with the Bootcamp team moving straight on with Vanessa to the PADI 🌐Rescue Diver Course...Bravo guys! 👏

Following In His Sons Footsteps.
Legends of multiple Bootcamps, the Meuss brothers, Joe, Tom, and Will's father, Patrick. grew jealous of their experiences and success and decided that he too wanted to get in on the Bootcamp vibe by joining us for 2 weeks for his PADI 🌐Master Scuba Diver. 🤿
Also joining us for their very first Bootcamps, Emily and Femke have begun their 8 week training program with Instructor Nora taking the reins, the team got stuck into the Navigation Speciality Course. 👌

Marine Life Presentation By Paul.
We had the pleasure of a guest speaker here at Dive2gether to present a fascinating talk on the unusual, and often funny behaviour of a variety of marine life we encounter whwn diving. 🤿
Paul hails from the UK 🇬🇧, and guest speaks at The University Of Plymouth on the south west coast of Devon, which is where Dive2gether Instructor Adam attended his presentations during his Biology Degree. 👨‍🎓
Paul has researched and documented the mating rituals, habitat, and territorial behaviour of various Blennies, also discovering how they choose and protect the tiny holes in the rocks that they call home! 😊

Nora's Buoyancy Adventure.
Assisted by Instructor Adam, Nora organised a rather brilliant dive for Bootcampers Merel and Elena to fine-tune their buoyancy control during the PADI🌐Peak Performance Buoyancy Speciality Course, 🤿
A mini assault course over the sand provided a fun challenge for Merel and Elena to discover how correcct weighting and using breath control can make all the difference to mastering neutral buoyancy when diving. 🤙👌

In The Shallows At Souda.
From the sandy, rocky shoreline where Elegant Cuttlefish and Groupers can be spotted, to the Seagrass Meadows which are abundant in sealife, Souda Beach is such a rewarding dive for macro marine enthusiasts! 🌿🦑
Take a look at the unusual looking Caulerpa prolifera Green Algae growing in the sand, the distinctive, and rarer to find, Black Scorpionfish, and many juvenile fish such as Rivulated Rabbitfish and Dusky Grouper.

Hide And Seek.
Dive Guide and Marine Biologist, Julia, posseses an unnerving ability for finding the very difficult to spot Broadnosed Pipefish hiding amongst the leaves of the Seagrass Meadows at Souda Beach.
Floating vertically, they blend in with the swaying meadows to avoid predators and a part of the Seahorse family, meaning the males recieve eggs from the females into it's breeding pouch for fertilizing, then 4 weeks later, hatching.
Camouflaged above the sand and dead seagrass leaves, check out the Slender Goby also blending into it's environment.
