Kanapitsa Run

Kanapitsa Run is an annual running race in Skiathos island since August 14, 2014 Kanapitsa Run is a running competition in Skiathos island.

The course is 4.6 km long and takes place along the scenic cliffs of the Kanapitsa peninsula, taking full advantage of the breathtaking sea views. The course consists of 2.3 km ascent, with a total elevation of 131 m, followed by a descent down the same route. The competitors are divided into five groups: Children, men under 45, men over 45, women under 45 and women over 45. The 1st Kanapitsa run took place on the 14th August 2014. There was a total of 135 participants.
