A plane flying close? Normal.
A paper airplane delivering my blog updates? Slightly dramatic, but completely my style. ✈️📄🎭
I know, I know: it's mid-August, you're at the beach, and the last word you want to hear right now is "lesson planning." Fair enough! 🌊🏖️
Consider this zero-stress summer reading instead. Just a light 5-minute read about process drama, Julia Donaldson’s Superworm, and turning reflective teaching moments into mini handmade zines under the Perugia sun. ☕️✨
Grab an iced freddo, leave the school brain on mute, and catch up on the blog whenever you feel like a quick break from sunbathing!

Every lesson has its own rhythm.
Some feel like a calm acoustic melody.
Others become a Broadway musical.
Some... sound a little like controlled chaos. 🎭
And that's not necessarily a bad thing.
Because when students are engaged, moving, laughing, negotiating and creating together, the classroom has a unique energy that no textbook can reproduce.
🎵 So tell us...
If your lesson had a soundtrack today, what kind of music would it be?
👇 We'd love to hear your answer.

Instead of raising your voice...
create a routine.
Teach students that one signal means:
🛑 Stop.
🛑 Freeze.
🛑 Listen.
Over time, this becomes a shared classroom habit that helps you regain attention without interrupting the flow of learning.
Small routines make a big difference.

When students NEED English... they use English.
Teacher in Role gives students a real reason to speak.
You're no longer the teacher.
You're the character.
And suddenly...
English becomes communication, not just another classroom exercise.
👉 Have you ever tried Teacher in Role?
Crocodile, Crocodile!🐊
A classic playground game turned into powerful English practice 🇬🇧💪🏻

The truth?A scarf.A pair of glasses.A notebook.A different voice.
That's enough.
Students don't need Hollywood. They need consistency

The student who refuses to participate isn't always being difficult.
Sometimes they're simply feeling overwhelmed.
Educational Drama offers meaningful roles beyond speaking:
🎭 Stage Manager
🎭 Time Keeper
🎭 Prop Master
🎭 Sound Designer
Participation can begin quietly.
Confidence often follows.
Every student deserves a way into the activity.

Before any drama activity begins, start in a circle.
Why?
Because everyone can see each other.
Everyone belongs.
Everyone is ready to participate.
This simple routine creates focus before creativity begins.
