Sea hours well spent today at Frankston Pier 🌊🤿
Diving with the crew from Altona Snorkel & Dive Shop and their dive club reminded me why every hour in the ocean is worth it. Calm water, beautiful marine life, and a group of passionate divers sharing the same curiosity for what lies beneath the surface.
Every dive adds new sea hours, new learning, and new memories underwater.
Grateful for days like this and for amazing dive buddies who make the experience even better 🐠💙

Slipping through the coral like a secret guardian of the reef 🐍🌊
The sea moray is one of the Great Barrier Reef’s most iconic residents — curious, elusive, and surprisingly elegant. Often misunderstood because of its sharp teeth and intense stare, this eel is actually shy and prefers to stay tucked inside reef crevices, gently opening and closing its mouth just to breathe.
Seeing a moray in its natural habitat is always a reminder of how wild, diverse, and alive the reef truly is 💙
Pure underwater magic, Australia at its best.

Sharks are often misunderstood, yet they are one of the most beautiful and vital creatures in the ocean.
Graceful, powerful, and ancient, they remind us that beauty does not need to be gentle to be extraordinary.
Protect what you fear.
Respect what keeps the ocean alive.

Gliding effortlessly along the reef, this Trumpetfish (Aulostomus chinensis) uses its slender body to blend seamlessly with corals and sponges.
Often seen hovering vertically or moving slowly along reef walls, trumpetfish are masters of camouflage and patience, ambushing prey with remarkable precision.

💙 Nature’s living gem 💙
Spotted this stunning giant clam nestled within the coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef. Those electric blue patterns aren’t just beautiful, they’re part of a symbiotic relationship that helps the clam thrive in shallow tropical waters.
Moments like this remind me how much life, colour, and quiet power exists beneath the surface. 🌊🐚

Beneath the surface, details matter 🌊
This giant clam resting on the reef shows how subtle colours and textures come alive underwater. Dark blues, soft greens, and just a hint of orange, perfectly balanced by the ocean light.
A reminder that the reef doesn’t need to shout to be powerful.
