The Guam & NMI Shinkyokushin KDF 2026 has come to a close, and we could not be more proud of our athletes for the heart and discipline they displayed on the mat.

While the trophies did not come our way this year, we leave with achievements worth celebrating:

A historic first — we fielded our very first Group Kata Team
3 athletes advanced to the 2nd round in Kata
1 athlete advanced to the 2nd round in Kumite
1 athlete reached the Quarter Finals in Kumite
1 athlete reached the Semi Finals in Kumite

Shinkyokushin teaches us that true strength is not only measured by the results, but by the courage to step forward, compete with integrity, and never give up. Our athletes embodied exactly that today.

We are proud of every single one of you. The journey continues.
