Back up, you should get masked up.
Finally listed masks on the site! I know I said I would do it last year (or was it 2020?), but honestly making masks over and over is kinda draining. š®āšØ But, weāre still in a pandemic and there are still viruses out there so might as well look cute when you go outside, right?
Navy Blooms, Gaosali (print designed by ), Pink Palms, and Anthurium all available in Kids/Adult Regular/Adult Large sizes.
Limited stock because these are fabrics that I already had on hand.

Malesso Muse.
The idea for this dress changed so many times but Iām so happy with how it turned out. Designed to be light and flowy and show just the right amount of skin for those hot afternoons in Malesso.

When life gets you down, just keep swimming.
See, the thing about me is, I live my life wave by wave. I let myself get pulled in and then ride out whatever it is. When I try to fight it, I just get knocked over.
The last few months, my waves have been full of family, career, and future plans. And while I am still riding those waves out, Iāve got plans for H&J once the tides change.
In the meantime, Iāll be working behind the seams on rebuilding and refocusing on the direction I want to go once that next creative wave comes.
Until then, Iāve got some great content from the last swell coming up. I had the pleasure of meeting and creating with some amazing and talented designers a few months ago and we will be debuting the official look book soon. Please go follow each and every one of the designers and creatives involved, they truly are the best.

Hereās the thing - no matter how many colors there are in the world, sometimes things will seem dull and grey (gray???). But guess what? THAT IS PERFECTLY NORMAL AND OKAY!!!
Iāve been going through an exceptionally rough grey period lately and have found it difficult to get back into the swing of things. Iāve got projects Iāve been sitting on. Emails and messages Iām only now noticing and responding to. Products and inventory I havenāt updated.
And, while I sincerely do apologize for my absence and lack of communication and presence, I had to allow myself to slow down and step back. You get it, right? What am I saying - I KNOW you get it! Youāre all amazing, empathetic, badass, goal crushing humans who go through rough grey periods too.
So cheers to going through it, growing through it, and coming out of it in full color. š„

P.S. How do YOU spell grey/gray?

Live life at your own pace.
Weāre constantly pressured by our surroundings to be/do/act/talk differently to the point where we forget about who we really are and what our purpose is. Sometimes we give in to that pressure and it makes us better, but sometimes that pressure steers us in a direction we never intended to go.
I always have to remind myself to take a step back and refocus on who I am and what I want versus who people think I am and what they want from me. Sometimes that means pulling away from things I had planned and sometimes that means doubling down on random things I really want to do even if other people donāt like it.
Regardless of what other people may think or do, how fast or slow they may go - youāre in control of how you flow.
What pressures are you facing lately? Does it align with whatās right for you?
