Our regulatory space covers the regions of Greater Georgetown, and ends at the Abary Creek.

In an interview with Ms. Burnett of the Guyana Football Federation Inc. Rickford Profitt President of the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA), spoke about the excitement, enthusiasm, and determination generated by the Guyana Football Federation Youth Ensemble Programme throughout the Association.

Profitt highlighted the programme's positive impact on youth football in Buxton and other communities along the East Coast, noting that it has inspired young players to develop their skills, compete at a higher level, and strive for national selection.

Captain of Plaisance Football Club, and Champions of the EDFA/GFF Under-13 Youth Ensemble 2026, expressed his excitement and pride after leading his team to their second under-13 championship title this year.

He also celebrated the club's qualification for the GFF National Under-13 Championship, describing it as a great opportunity to represent the East Demerara Football Association on the national stage. Confident in his team's abilities, he pledged that Plaisance Football Club will continue to work hard and give their best as they prepare to compete against the country's top youth teams.

Congratulations to Isaiah Pellew of Ann's Grove United FC on being named the Best Goalkeeper of the EDFA/GFF Under-15 Youth Ensemble 2026.

Pellew has earned a place in the Guyana National Goalkeepers Pool and will travel to the Dominican Republic to represent Guyana at the CFU U-14 Challenge Series, which will be held from August 15–24, 2026.

The East Demerara football community is proud of his accomplishment and wishes him every success as he represents both his club and country on the regional stage.

Congratulations, Isaiah, and best wishes as you continue to make Guyana proud!

Buxton Stars Football Club are the EDFA/GFF Under-15 Youth Ensemble Champions after an outstanding and dominant campaign.

The East Demerara Football Association top club completed the tournament with a perfect record, winning all eight matches and scoring an impressive 63 goals, showcasing exceptional talent, teamwork, and consistency throughout the competition.

Shakiel Callender, Buxton Stars took home the Most Valuable Player (MVP) ward.

The Ensemble leading Goal Scorer award also went to a Buxton Stars Player: Joel Stephen.

President of the East Demerara Football Association Rickford Profitt congratulated the players, coaching staff, management, and supporters on a remarkable achievement. "Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off and I Wish the club continued success in future competitions."
