We the members of Transport hereby congratulate Nyia Latchman on being selected to the Amazon Warriors women CPL squad for this year 2024 edition, we wish her well as she continues to make strives towards greatness, we are extremely proud of Nyia, thanks to Coach Kevin Ross and Shaun Massiah for working with her and the twenty odd young ladies at the club as well as the boys. Best wishes on a successful tournament.
Congratulations and best wishes are also for Riyad Latif and Emmanuel Lewis on their selection to the Guyana Under 17 Squad, we are proud of both of you and we trust that your upward mobility will continue with good and discipline performances during the tournament. Play fearless, play smart, and give your best on and off the field.
We were shocked to see the omission of Experience and Economical Dave Mohabir, two times as Guyana under 15 Captain, who also played GCB Senior Inter County Cricket, plays First and second division Cricket, Captain the Guyana under15 team against a team from USA, and did a decent job in this year DCB Under 17 Inter Association along with Jayden Dowlin,(his spin twin). Tuff luck to the accomplish batsman/ wicket keeper Shamar Apple on his omission after an outstanding performance for Guyana Under 15 team earlier this year and a decent performance in the DCB under 17 Inter Association and the GCB under 17 Trial matches. Best wishes to the coach, manager, Captain Jonathan Vanlange and rest of the Guyana Under 17 squad/team.

We the members of Transport Sports Club would like to congratulate Alvin Mohabir, Riyad Latif & Romeo Deonarain who has been selected to represent Guyana at the Men's U19 Level while Nyia Latchman who will be representing Guyana at the Women's U19 level.
Riyad Latif is duly desreve his selection after working hard, at one time the selectors say he was too small, then came the covid 19 pandemic and was overlooked last year, we trust that he grab the opportunity with both hands and show case his skill set, he like Alvin Mohabir came through the ranks from under13 pairs cricket right through the 2nd and 1st Division cricket in the GCA competitions. We also hope that Alvin Mohabir show his true potential in this his last year at the under 19 level. Myhiem Khan & Shiloh Adams are on standby for the Men's whiles Aneesa Chetram & Areya Ali are on standby for the Women's.
Romeo Deonarain selection is deserving. He has a level head and is pretty consistent in scoring runs, copping the award of the batsman with the most runs in the Demerara Inter Association Tournament. He scored runs in the GCB under 19 inter County as well in the Demerara senior T/20 tournament.
Niya Latchman is one of the most talented young ladies. we all see what she can do her selection is well deserving as she strives to make the senior West Indies team one day.
The talented Myhiem Khan was hard done by the selectors. He was in the reserves last year after performing credible, and again, he is in the reserves after mesmerizing all with his off spin, his athleticism, and batting, his most recent performances was in the Guyana T/10 Blast. We all hope that he will be selected for future Guyana teams, joining the few who were overlooked but still get the chance to play for Guyana. Who knows, know the struggles of Myhiem Khan.
Shiloh Adams also showed the selectors his worth by being awarded the best wicket keeper with the most dismissal of 12 catches and 2 stumpings in the Demerara Inter Association matches and his 70 add runs in the Demerara under 19 rest team vs GCA under 19 team along with his 2 hundreds in the GCA competition matches, he too was over looked after a decent performance in the Inter County matches. We encourage all of them to hold it up, focus, and continue to work hard, Onwards Upwards, your dreams will soon come through, go fort and make all of us proud. Best wishes to the management and team.

The members of Transport Sports Club are questioning the non selection of Stephon Sankar(Left) & Dave Mohabir(Right) from the Guyana U17 team.
Stephon Sankar who had a well all round inter county run didn't made the team but was placed on standby. Sankar who represented Demerara had figures 2-15 from 8 overs against Essequibo, 1-16 from against Demerara also scored 40runs. Sankar also played a 2nd Division match yesterday against the Kings XI team where he took a 5 wicket haul, while Dave Mohabir who represented the Select XI had figure 4-24 from 10 Overs against Demerara, 0-16 from 10overs against Essequibo and didn't get the finished the game 2-45 from 10over against Berbice due to illness he didn't got to finished the game. Dave Mohabir who recently Captain the Guyana U15 and finished as an emerging all rounder. It's being questionable why these two didn't got selected and their performance were was better than some of the players that were selected.
