Over the past weekend, August 14–16, Team Guyana proudly competed at the 2026 Goodwill Swimming Championships in Trinidad & Tobago 🇹🇹, and we are extremely proud to have had two Silver Shark swimmers representing our country on the team! 🇬🇾

🦈 Israel Alphonso — Boys’ 11–12
🦈 Leanna Richardson — Girls’ 15–17

Our swimmers rose to the occasion, achieving personal best times in ALL of their events! 👏🔥 Their performances are a reflection of the hard work, discipline, dedication and determination they have shown in preparation for this championship.

Israel and Leanna, you worked hard and competed even harder. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented Silver Shark Aquatic Swim Club and Guyana on the regional stage. 🇬🇾🦈

To our swimmers, keep showing up, keep pushing yourselves and keep believing in what you can accomplish. Continue to train with purpose, remain dedicated and never stop striving to become better.
