Congratulations to the Guyana U14 Boys on capturing the Tier 2 title in the Challenge Series! 🏆🇬🇾

A tremendous achievement by the entire team and staff. Your hard work, commitment and belief have brought pride to Guyana and created a special moment that will be remembered.

For Vurlon Mills Football Academy (VMFA), this moment carries an even deeper significance. Nine VMFA players made the final squad, with seven featuring in the starting lineup throughout the tournament. We could not be prouder of our players and the role they played in this historic achievement.

We have always believed that the academy system is a powerful pathway for long-term player development. While clubs remain essential to competition and community identity, academies are intentionally structured to place the growth and development of the player ahead of short-term results, developing not only footballers, but complete athletes, critical thinkers and future leaders.

And today, we proudly say that this victory is as much a VMFA success as it is a Guyana success. 🇬🇾

This is what investment in youth development, quality coaching and structured academy programs can produce.

Can we have more academy systems across Guyana? More academies mean more opportunities, more quality players, stronger competition and, ultimately, a stronger national team program.

Congratulations once again to the Guyana U14 Boys and the entire technical staff on this history-making achievement.

VMFA was strongly represented, with 7 of our players named in the starting lineup, and each one delivered a solid and committed performance on the field.

What an incredible week it has been!
The Republic Bank Girls Football Camp has officially come to an end, and what a memorable experience it was! From football and learning to, teamwork on and off the field and plenty of excitement, our girls truly enjoyed the ultimate girls football experience.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to Republic Bank Guyana Limited for your continued support and commitment to empowering young people through sport. To our amazing parents, participants and coaches, thank you for making this camp so special. Your energy, dedication and support helped make the week a tremendous success.

We created memories and most importantly, had FUN! This may be the end of this edition, but we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
