Great information on heart health and best treatments available to the community. Especially excited to hear all of the speakers stress the importance of moving as a preventative measure.

A New Journey Begins

On Saturday, June 13, 2026, we officially launched Girls on the Move, a transformative wellness, mentorship and empowerment programme designed to support and inspire the next generation of young women.

What started as an idea has now become a movement, one that will provide girls with opportunities to build confidence, develop leadership skills, create meaningful connections and embrace healthier lifestyles through movement and mentorship.

Over the 12 weeks, the girls and adult mentor will
Lace up their sneakers and embark on a journey of walking, running, growing, learning and self-discovery, culminating with their participation in the SOCA Heart 5K on September 27.
