On our NXL Paintball run, Kaieteur Tropical Mist held us down like family. Proper Guyanese food, real hospitality, and a space that felt like home away from home. Big respect to Ram Ramesh and his wife for opening that door, and to every Guyanese we linked up with there, your pride, encouragement, and your offer to support the growth of paintball in Guyana meant everything.

Moments like this remind us that wherever we go, Guyana moves with us. Our culture, our food, our people, strong, united, and ready to push Guyana forward on every stage.

Day 4 — NXL WORLD CUP 2025
We met with Thomas Cole, President of the NXL, and Laurent Hamet, President of the United Paintball Federation. Conversations were centered around Guyana’s potential to be a regional hub for major flagship tournaments, and their readiness to support the development of paintball across the Caribbean.

🚨GUYANA MADE HISTORY🚨

Day 1- NXL Paintball World Cup 2025
Kendallz Extreme Sports has officially led the first-ever Guyanese delegation to the NXL Paintball World Cup in Orlando, marking a historic step for Guyana and the Caribbean paintball scene. With the backing of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport - Guyana, Hon. Steven Jacobs-Minister within the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sport Guyana Tourism Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Industry & Commerce, Jamar's Associates .Inc Susan Rodrigues. This mission pushed Guyana onto the global competitive stage.
The purpose was simple and strategic: build international relationships, secure developmental support, learn from the world’s top players and organizations, and set the foundation for a structured paintball ecosystem back home. The delegation engaged with global industry leaders, scouted best practices, and positioned Guyana as a serious emerging player in the sport.

The benefits are immediate and long-term with access to certified referees, coaching opportunities, pathways for national team development, increased sports tourism potential, and stronger recognition for Caribbean athletes in a fast-growing international sport. This trip sets the tone: Guyana is no longer watching from the sidelines. We’re building a regional paintball powerhouse, starting now.

This year, Kendallz Extreme Sports was contracted for the first time to bring the paintball experience to the Guyana edition, and what a hit it was! From strategy to teamwork, the field was alive with energy, unity, and all-out good vibes.

A big shoutout to team (Ms. Rowena Elliot & Mr. Gerron Williams) for trusting us to be part of this worldwide celebration of teamwork and culture. Here’s to more collaborations that connect people across borders through adrenaline and purpose!

🚨 Longish Appreciative Post 🚨

In February, I took a leap and applied (thanks to the encouragement of Mr. Kamrul Baksh)for the Elevate All: Tourism & Hospitality Edition program by the Centre for Local Business Development-Guyana. To be honest, it was far outside my comfort zone. I was nervous to even apply, especially since programs in Guyana rarely cater to unconventional businesses like paintball.

From February 26 to June 12, I had the privilege of being part of this journey. And let me say, what an experience! The knowledge, structure, and clarity I gained have left me feeling equipped to manage even a Fortune 500 company.

To the incredible facilitators Ron Glasgow, Nicola Panday, and Cecile Maxwell, thank you for pouring your expertise into us. To my mentor, Ms. Alexis Monize, your blunt honesty mixed with understanding was exactly what I needed to recognize the true worth of this business.

To the funder, The Greater Guyana Initiative, the stakeholder Tourism & Hospitality Association, and my fellow mentees who shared this journey with me, thank you for the support, insights, and encouragement.

This program has given me so much more than knowledge; it’s given me confidence, vision, and the tools to elevate Kendallz Extreme Sports to new heights.
