Have you ever noticed the sense of you feel while walking on the beach, standing near a waterfall, or swimming in a lake? Aside from the beauty of nature, our bodies also respond to invisible, negative ions βš› in the air. Simply explained, negative ions are oxygen atoms charged with an extra electron. To easily benefit from negative ions found in nature, you can β€œGROUND” your feet on the where you live. Take your shoes off in the park, or shove your toes into some mud after a good rain. It sounds wild, because it is, but you most likely will feel relaxed and rejuvenated afterward. Kids are often more than happy to join in this ritual!

Stop multitasking for one day! Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea β˜• before moving on to the next thing on your to-do list. Switch your phone to SILENT while you finish the project you’re working on. When you do check back in with your phone or email, do so with . End your day making dinner without the distraction of your devices in the background. You might be surprised how much more you get done, and how much less stressed you feel!

During this practice, see yourself sitting and journaling as if your dreams have already happened. The key to unlocking the magic in this process is not just writing the words, but truly FEELING the positive emotions of already having everything you desire. Allow yourself to feel loved, joyful, peaceful, free, happy, healthy, and wealthy NOW. When you invite these feelings into your inner world, you become a magnet for even more positive feelings and experiences to manifest in your outer world! ✨✨

Your body is a sacred temple, so respect it by being mindful of what you put in it. Practice a HEALTHY EATING REGIMEN this season and beyond by INCREASING YOUR WATER INTAKEπŸ’§. Since our bodies are composed of approximately 50-75% , a good rule of thumb is to take half your body weight and drink that amount in ounces of water every day. And remember, maintaining your water balance doesn’t necessarily just have to come from water; there are tons of FRUITS and VEGETABLES πŸ₯¦πŸ₯¬with amazing water content levels which can help ensure that you are eating your , while getting your much needed dose of daily water intake. Honor your body/Divine temple in 2022!

Start and end your day by incorporating a 20-minute into your daily routine. In addition to meditation, is essential for your complete health and wellness. When you wake up in the morning and before you go to bed at night, take 20 minutes to stretch and get in tune with your body. This practice will help create the energy needed to sustain you throughout the day, or to recalibrate your body while you sleep at night. Stretching isn't just limited to pre-exercise activity and should be practiced by everyone, regardless of how active you are. Let your yoga mat help keep your muscles flexible, healthy, and strong in 2022! πŸ’ͺ πŸ’―

Head out to your local park today and walk 3 miles!πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ The average person can walk 3 miles in 45 minutes to an hour, which works out to be around 20 minutes per mile. This time may vary, especially if you walk at a leisurely pace or take your time. So if it takes you longer, no worries! Use the extra time to incorporate your meditation from Day 2, and remember to show GRATITUDE for wherever you are on your journey to better health and wellness! πŸ™

Happy Spring! The Spring Equinox arrives today as the Sun crosses the Earth’s equator, making day and night of equal length. Also, the Sun also moves into Aries, beginning the astrological New Year. We are now entering a season of reawakening and freshness, and allowing ourselves to be open to new beginnings. We’re coming out of our slumber and jumping into our bodies with purpose and motivation. The previous seasons have prepared us for this moment, helping to purify our minds, hearts, and karma. Now, we can spring forward... more energized and enlivened!
