♟️ Why Girls in Chess Should Watch Queen of Chess ♟️
Chess is not only about openings, ratings, and trophies — it is about building confidence, belief, and aspiration.
Two powerful stories help deliver this message to girls around the world:
🎥 Queen of Chess — the real-life story of Judit Polgár, who broke barriers and competed at the very top of world chess.
🎬 The Queen’s Gambit — a cultural phenomenon that reshaped how the world sees chess and inspired millions of girls to take up the game.
One is reality.
One is fiction.
Both send the same powerful message:
👉 You belong at the board.
At FIDE Chess in Education, we believe role models matter. Stories like these help girls see chess as a space where they can think deeply, compete confidently, and dream boldly.
