It is with deepest regret that the Carol Bateman School of Dancing Limited has now closed its doors and ceased operations as of 20th December 2025.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for your support, trust, and loyalty over the years. It has been our honour to teach and inspire so many dancers, and we hope you will look back fondly on your time with us, as well as the dedicated teachers and staff who helped shape the school’s legacy.
We also hope you will continue to encourage your children to pursue ballet in the future. It is a life-changing, rewarding art form, and we are grateful to have been part of your journey.

Some of Hong Kong's leading ballet schools are today directed by former pupils of the Carol Bateman School of Dancing. Most clasees have piano accompaniment.
Hong Kong's oldest Ballet School was found in 1948 and to this day the school occupies the same studio in the historic Helena May Building at 35 Garden Road, Hong Kong. The teachers are qualified in the Royal Academy of Dance Method of ballet and the teachers of National Dance are all ISTD qualified. There is watching week every term when parents/friends are invited to watch a class to follow their child's progress.
