由聯合國兒童基金香港委員會(UNICEF HK)主辦及由香港業餘田徑總會(HKAAA)支持的聯合國兒童基金會慈善跑自2006年起,已吸引超過11萬名善心參加者參與,為聯合國兒童基金會(UNICEF)全球項目累積籌得超過港幣 1.1億元,幫助發展中國家的兒童。
2021年,UNICEF HK舉辦全新的「還童心導遊」虛擬跑活動,虛擬跑無須選定挑戰組別,捐款後即可透過手機或指定運動手環,於活動時段內將您跑步數據同步至UNICEF HK 手機應用程式獲取積分。跑得愈遠,排名愈高,代表您能夠為更多兒童送上學習機會之餘,同時獲得獎勵的機會愈多!
本活動所有捐款之淨收益,將撥作 UNICEF 「重塑教育」項目。

Here’s some tips for final preparations together before the race! 💪🏻
Remember to bring along all items including race bib, baggage tag, valid photo ID, etc.
💧 Stop eating 3 hours before the race and drink less water 1 hour before the race
⌚ Arrive at the venue in advance to do warm-up exercises and get prepared
🌡️ Pay attention to your health condition and the weather on the event day

⚠️跑手們注意!賽事當日記得預先將號碼布掛喺胸前呀!👕
號碼布除咗用嚟識別身份之外,號碼布上嘅計時晶片仲會為各位跑手計時同記錄比賽成績架🏃🏻🏃🏻️💨
✅⏱️正確使用號碼布計時晶片方法
1. 參加者可利用本會提供嘅4個扣針,將號碼布嘅四個角緊扣喺胸前
2. 跑手號碼唔應該有任何遮擋
3. 請勿摺疊號碼布或計時晶片
4. 參加者必須踏上/經過設於起點、分段同終點嘅計時感應地蓆/感應器

【How to put on timing chip correctly?】
⚠️ Attention, Runners ⚠️
Remember to securely attach your bib onto the front of your shirt on the race day! 👕 The bib not only serves as an identification of you but also contains a timing chip that will record and track your race results 🏃🏻🏃🏻️💨
✅⏱️ How to put on timing chip correctly
1. Attach the four pins provided in the Runner’s Pack to the four corners of the race bib
2. The race bib must be attached onto the front of your tee and the runner’s number must be visible at all times
3. DO NOT fold the race bib or the timing chip
4. Participants must step on /pass through the timing mats / sensors located at the starting and finishing points, and other timing locations
In case of improper use of the bib, on-purpose damages made to the timing chip or participants’ failure to step on / pass through the timing mats / sensors, timing results might not be provided. 🙅🏻 So, PLEASE WEAR THE BIB PROPERLY! 嚟緊星期日就係聯兒跑嘅大日子喇!☀️ 賽事最早上午6:00就開始,大家記得預早到香港迪士尼樂園旅遊巴士停車場集合兼熱身呀!不過咁早點樣去起點呢?等我哋話你知啦!🙋🏻
活動當日會場內將不設停泊車位🚫,各位參加者須乘搭港鐵或者特別巴士前往會場。港鐵東涌綫同迪士尼綫列車喺活動當日會提早提供服務🚅,而已購買特別巴士服務嘅參加者🚌可於指定接載地點乘坐巴士前往會場。

【How to get there? Special Transportation Arrangement】
The big day is coming up! Are you ready for UNICEF Charity Run this coming Sunday?☀️ The earliest race event starts at 6:00am, so remember to arrive early and gather at the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Coach Park on time! Since everyone is getting up bright and early, we have arranged special transportation for all our participants on that day🙋🏻
Please note that no parking space will be available for participants🚫, so participants are advised to access the event venue by MTR or special bus services. Early train services for Tung Chung Line & Disneyland Resort Line will be provided 🚅, and special bus services at specific locations will be provided to participants who have already purchased tickets beforehand 🚌.

正所謂:「休息是為了走更長遠的路💤」,為咗提高表現與避免受傷,做正確同合適嘅伸展運動係十分重要!香港伸展運動學會就建議跑手🌟跑前伸展8-10次,每次2秒,🌟跑後伸展3次,每次12-15秒。大家更加可以上我哋網站💻參考詳細伸展動作同指示,為星期日嘅聯兒跑做足準備啦!到時見✋🏻

Regardless of your running speed 💨 or level of experience, it's vital to give your body the proper relaxation and recovery it needs after long-distance runs. Make use of various stretching exercises to recover different parts of your body! 🔋
For enhanced performance and injury prevention, doing the right stretching exercises is key. The Hong Kong Stretching Exercise Association recommends runners to perform 2-second stretches, 8-10 times before running, and 12-15 –second stretches, 3 times afterward 🌟 . 備戰聯兒跑,有啲咩要留意?🤔
雖然賽事11月舉行,天氣會相對涼爽🌬️,但我哋跑步時仍然會流失大量汗液同埋消耗能量🥵💦,所以要記得定時補充足夠水份呀!賽事當日喺起點、終點同埋賽道每隔約3公里位置,我哋都會設置水站🚰俾參加者使用,水站將使用可重用膠杯以減少塑膠垃圾,大家記得飲水喇!
小編亦就補水列出咗幾個小貼士俾大家,一齊參考下啦💧
💧 運動2個鐘前應攝取約500毫升嘅水分,讓身體獲得水分同時,亦有充足時間排出體內多餘嘅水分
🚰 運動過程中要及早同有規律咁喝水,以補充身體喺運動時因流汗失去嘅水分
🌡️ 將水冷卻至室溫以下就可以促進補充水分啦

What should you keep in mind when preparing for UNICEF Charity Run? 🤔
Despite the cooler November weather 🌬️, running still leads to significant perspiration 🥵💦. Hence, it's crucial to drink water regularly and maintain consistent hydration. On the event day, water stations 🚰 will be available at the starting point, finishing line, and approximately every 3km along the race route for all runners, and we’re using reusable cups to reduce plastic waste. Remember, stay hydrated!
We’ve gathered some valuable hydration tips for you.💧
💧 Consume approximately 500ml of fluids 2 hours prior to exercise to ensure proper hydration and allow time for excess fluids to be eliminated
🚰 While exercising, drink water at regular intervals to replenish fluids lost through sweat
🌡️ Prefer water at a slightly lower temperature than room temperature to enhance fluid replenishment

Confirmed participants in UNICEF Charity Run should have received the Runner’s Pack Collection Notification📧 via email already. Each runner's pack📦 includes a race bib (attached with a timing chip), a baggage tag, a runner’s tee specially designed by moodytiger and a special Bus Ticket (if applicable), which will NOT be distributed on the event day. 香港三鐵運動員陳靄然自細學習琴棋書畫等靜態活動,直至高中機緣巧合下加入田徑隊,開始投入跑步同運動。
由當初鍾意參加短跑比賽,感受當中的刺激感同榮譽感;到而家面對工作壓力嘅時候視跑步為休息,調劑身心,同熱愛運動嘅朋友交流。各個時期跑步對Hidy而言都有不一樣嘅意義。

【 : Hong Kong triathlon athlete Hidy Chan】
Hong Kong triathlon athlete, Hidy Chan was taking music and art classes since childhood, it was only in high school where she coincidentally joined the track and field team which started off her athletics journey.
Initially, she enjoyed sprint races and experienced all the thrill and honor that came with it. As time passed by, she started to see running as a form of relaxation instead, to rejuvenate both her body and mind amidst work. She also enjoyed interacting with friends who shared the same passion for sports. Running held different meanings for Hidy during various periods of her life. She believes that exercising regularly can improve both physical and mental health which is exactly the message of UNICEF Charity Run 2023 - promoting the “SDG3: Good Health and Well-being”.
Hidy fully supports UNICEF Charity Run and encourages fellow runners to sign up for it, whether it is pushing your own limit in the 10km challenge or 5km run, or participating in the 3km Fun Run with families. It's an amazing opportunity to run and create wonderful memories together! 🌈

【 Story : Hong Kong long-distance runner Chan Ka Ho】
Hong Kong long-distance runner and running coach, Chan Ka Ho, has completed numerous marathons and coached uncountable running enthusiasts. 👨🏻🧒🏻 He believes that "running is a skill that comes naturally to us and is relatively easy to start among various sports🏃🏻🏃🏻". He strongly supports families in participating in the UNICEF Charity Run and the 3km Family Race since he truly believes that sports can bring families closer together! 🏠
Tip from Ka Ho! Many parents might be worried that their children won't be able to complete the Run. Ka Ho advises parents to control the racing pace in segments. They can also tell them short stories to keep them entertained, offer words of encouragement💬, and take short breaks in between with their children. The main part of the run is not about winning or losing but for the children to complete the race on their own little feet! 💪
