On Monday night Spartans Masters win the league title for the second year running. With 9 straight wins a hard fought 4-2 win against Mobsters while KCC dropped points against Kennedy Town the league title is confirmed. A few celebrations with Jose “Dani” Aguilar at the helm while H was away for the last two game Dani has done superb job to get us the titile.

Spartans Immortals start the new season with a win 3-2 against USRC AFC
We fought hard till the end with a narrow 0-1 loss to DBFC. We’re we rode our luck in last years cup final and won 1-0 this time DBFC returned us the favour.
A good season by the Spartans Masters overall a lot to build on for next season!!!!

Spartans Masters booked themselves into another cup final last night with 4-3 victory over Kennedy Town. Masters went 3-0 up midway through the second half before a Kennedy Town fight back saw the game momentum swing. 3-2 and then 4-2 with Nick Day getting the goal after Vernon David’s magic. Some tense moments at the end at 4-3 with Kennedy Town scoring late. New recruit Feeks scoring a double goal while Iain setting up Dani for the opener.
The fairly tale run came to an end last night with a hard fought 1-2 loss for the masters against a strong HKFC side. We were decimated with players out by injury and away and with only bare 12 available.
To our credit the first half we played well and had not been for some excellent saves by their keeper we would have been up at the break.
The second half they came out stronger and with 2 lucky goals the first deflection and the second a wayward defensive pass they had the ascendency. To our credit we got a well deserved goal back but couldn’t find the equaliser after intense pressure at the end.
With 6 games left in the season the title is still in our hands. All to play for….go the Spartans Masters.

Spartans Masters made it 8 wins from 8 in the league with a hard fought 4-0 win against a depleted Godfathers side who no doubt will be a stronger team on return leg. Chee scored a brace with Dani and Randy scoring. Nick Day played on his birthday and was unlucky not to get on scorers sheet. Nick Dashti returning to playing after a 3 year absence while a great debut performance by youngster Nick Hall.

Spartans Masters took on KCC Monarchs last night on King Park 2. A tough game with Masters winning 5-2 in the end after having a man sent off with 20mins to go with score 3-2.
Two Goals to Jose Villena, Iian Kiloughery, Marek and Willie Lee who also got the man of match award.
