【4TUL One Go - Igor is back ‼️】

《 4TUL One Go - Igor is back ‼️ 》

Igor, a 🇭🇷Croatian runner living in Hong Kong, participated in the first 4TUL One Go in 2020, successfully completing the 146km personal challenge.

Igor has decided to reignite that passion, putting his racing gear back on for the upcoming 6th edition of 4TUL.

For Igor, the 6th edition is definitely a new challenge. In the first edition, the route was clockwise, making it easy to catch the MTR. The difficulty lay in catching the ferry to Lantau Island before midnight, and the most challenging part was catching the last ferry from Tai O to Tuen Mun. If he missed it, he would have to wait until the next day, and there was a high chance he would miss the deadline 😵.

This year, Igor will first complete the first leg of the same route, then head to Lantau Island for climbing Lantau Peak before finishing the second leg in Mui Wo. After arriving on Hong Kong Island, he’ll have to catch the MTR 🚇 or the shuttle bus 🚌. The last leg includes a new climb up to Needle Hill, which won’t be easy for a runner who might already be exhausted.

The distance is shorter than in the first edition, but the higher elevation gain is one of the challenges in the 6th edition.

We believe Igor will train relentlessly during this period and regain his former glory. Go Igor, see you at the start line 💪
