Bikram half moon pose - This pose is a favourite for whenever I have a stiff spine. It stretches the whole side of the body and helps keep the spine flexy. Healthy spine healthy life ๐Ÿ˜‰

My focus these last few weeks has been all around the Hot 26/Bikram sequence. Training hard to improve my practice and knowledge so I can be a better teacher and student. It has been tough - Iโ€™ve been working with a very tight/tired body and a couple of nagging injuries, but practicing with them is teaching me how I can modify these poses for my own students. Some of my modifications look so different from the โ€œperfect poseโ€ but Iโ€™m still receiving benefits. Iโ€™m learning so much about the limits of my body and the discipline of my mind.
I am also learning that I need to be far more disciplined with Myofascial release!

Mother daughter partner pose. Partner poses are a really fun thing to do... sometimes they can start with snaps and arguing (especially when itโ€™s with someone youโ€™re close to ๐Ÿ™ˆ) but they often end with harmony and laughs ๐Ÿ˜„ theyโ€™re a fun way to build trust and communication.
