Due to the closure of To Shek Baseball Field to maintenance the try-out will take place at Ho Man Tin High Level Service Reservoir (Ho Man Tin Upper).

The new baseball season will start in September and if you are interested please join the Japanese Baseball Club try out on 17, 18, 24 and 25 August morning at Ho Man Tin High Level Service Reservoir Playground (Ho Man Tin Upper). Depending on your age and skill level we will recommend you to join the HKLL coach pitch (5 to 6 year old) minor (7 to 11 year old), major (9 to 12 year old), junior (13 to 14 year old) and senior leagues (13 to 16 year old). The try out is free and open to boys and girls, with or without baseball experience. For registration and details please send a Facebook message to our account.

新しい野球のシーズンが9月から始まります。もし、興味のある方は是非、日本人野球クラブ(JBC)主催の8月17、18，24、25日それぞれの朝に沙田(シャーテイン)の何文田上配水庫遊樂場(HMTU)で行なわれるトライアル練習にご参加下さい。年齢や技術により香港少年野球連盟の以下のリーグに参加する事を提案します。

シニア(13-16歳)

JBC ヤクルトスワローズは2024年度チャレンジカップでチャンピオンになりました‼

昨年度チャンピオンのナインウェストを相手に、スワローズは2回裏の時点で2対6の4点差に開かれましたがチームは諦めずに最終的には、8対7の逆転勝利を収めました。
コーチは4回表の攻撃力ある相手を守りきったチームの守備力を褒めました。
この試合を投げ切った城戸ユウシ君は2つのヒットと2得点もあげ、チームを引っ張りました。青ジャック君は炎天下の中でのキャッチャーとして、又2塁打と2得点を獲得しました。ショートのウ－ ライアン君は1塁打を2回、2塁打、そして2得点を獲得。1塁のチェン トゥリン君は試合の勝敗の決定打となる2塁打を放ちました。3塁の中本元太郎君、2塁の水野湊太君は守備の要として、センターのタン ザッカリー君は出塁後に盗塁、外野のオレア トライアン君とビーバー甲斐君は出塁後に盗塁、そして4回裏の反撃時に共に得点をあげました。

この試合は完璧なシーズン最終日になりました。多くの保護者ボランティアの方々、特にチームマネジャーの藤川さん、城戸さん、コーチの青さん、中本さん、オレアさん、水野さん、そしてその他沢山の皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

そしてチーム内の年長何人かのメジャーリーグへ移る選手達はこのチームとお別れになります。
スワローズには既に来季も沢山の選手達が登録を済ませて、シーズンが始まるのを楽しみに待っています。
チャレンジカップでの優勝おめでとう‼

The JBC Yakult Swallows is the 2024 Challenge Cup Champion!

Playing against the last year champion Ninewest, the Swallows was down 2-6 at the bottom of the 2nd inning. The team didn’t give up, compete hard to secure a come from behind 8-7 win. The coach praised the defensive play, shutting down one of the best offensive team in the critical 4th inning. Lead by Yushi Kido who pitched a complete game and provided 2 hits and 2 runs, Jack Ao played catcher under the summer heat and contributed a double and 2 runs, SS Ryan Wu 2 single, a double, 2 runs, 1B Turin Cheung the crucial double to score the tying and winning runs, 3B Gentaro Nakamoto and 2B Sota Mizuno with key defensive plays, CF Zachary Tang drew walks and steal bases, LF Traian Olea and Kai Beaver drew walks and scored runs in the critical 4th inning which started the come back.
This is the perfect end to the season. Thanks to all volunteers including the team manager Fujikawa-san and Kido-san, coaches Ao-san, Nakamoto-san, Olea-san and Mizuno-san, and many others.
It is also time to say goodbye to some of the players who will move up to the Major League. The Swallows will have a bright future with the many younger players returning next season to take up more responsibilities.

猛暑の中、私達スワローズは強豪マーティンズレッドに大きな勝利を収めました。
青ジャック君と城戸ユウシ君は素晴らしいピッチング、ウーライアン君の2塁打、そして中本源太郎君のバント、そしてチーム全員による守備による今回の勝利でした。私達は今季シーズン最終戦、チャンピオンシップをかけた試合を対ナインウェストと行います‼

Under the hot summer heat our Swallows had a big win against one of the best team - Martins Red. Outstanding pitching from Jack Ao and Yushi Kido, great batting from Ryan Wu with two doubles, and perfect bunting from Gentaro Nakamoto resulting in a triple, and great defensive plays by everyone. We are moving on to the final game of the season, Championship game vs Ninewest!

私達スワローズはチャレンジカップトーナメントの対カーキロライオンズ戦の非常に厳しい逆転勝ち試合から昨日スタートしました。
4対1で4回を終わり最終回の5回表で5得点を挙げ、5回裏をウーライアン君の素晴らしいピッチングで無失点で抑える事ができ、結果は6対4でスワローズが勝利を収めました。
中本元太朗君はスワローズデビュー戦をランニングホームランで飾りました‼ 次回の試合は対TTBCイーグルス戦です‼
引き続き、スワローズの健闘を祈ります‼

Our Swallows started the Challenge Cup Tournament yesterday with a hard fought come from behind win against the Kakkiro Lions. Down 4-1 at the bottom of the 4th inning, the Swallows scored 5 runs at the fifth and hold the opponent with no run thanks to excellent pitching from Ryan Wu. The end we won the game as 6-4. Gentaro Nakamoto making his Swallows debut with a home run! Next game against TTBC Eagles, best of luck to our Swallows!

The Swallows family joined the HKLL Closing Ceremony and hosted two booths - grilled rice ball and baseball cards, to raise funds to the HKLL to maintain the baseball fields. Both booths were super popular. Thank you to all volunteers!
The Swallows players also participated in the skill competition. Jack Ao is the only player who was able to hit the ball out of the field, and won the Home Run Derby with three homers. Yushi Kido ranked second at the Long Toss Contest, Sota Mizuno at 4th at the Fastest Base Runner, just miss 3rd with 0.05s. Our Fastest Throw Around the Bases Team consists of Ryan Wu, Gentaro Nakamoto, Yota Asakawa and Turin Cheung also finished 4th and missed 3rd by just 0.2s.
We will wrap up with one last event, the Challenge Cup in early June 2024.

昨日スワローズの選手と家族は香港リトルリーグのクロージングセレモニーに参加し、又、2つのブース(焼きおにぎりとMLBベースボールグッズ)にて協賛をし、HKLLへの球場の整備などに使う為の資金の集金を試みました。
ブースでの保護者のボランティア、本当にありがとうございました。2つのブース共に非常に人気で用意した商品は全て完売となりました。
同時に、スワローズの選手達は技術コンペティションにも参加しました。
青ジャック君は場外へのホームランを打ったたった1人の参加者としてホームランダービーを制しました。
城戸ユウシ君は、ロングトスコンテストで２位に選出されました。
水野ソウタ君は、ベースランコンテストで僅か3位と0.05秒の差で惜しくも４位になりました。
ベース間送球コンテストでは、ウーライアン君、仲元ゲンタロウ君、浅川ヨウタ君、チュントゥリン君達も僅か0.2秒の差で３位を逃し４位でした。
そして私達は今年度最後の公式戦チャレンジカップを6月の上旬に控えています。

Today is the last day of the season, the Swallows and Angels competed for the 2nd runner up. Both teams played very well, with exceptional pitching we had a very tight game. At the end we lost 4-2.
We thank the coaches Fujikawa-san, Kido-san and Ao-san to help lead us from finishing 8th place last year to 4th this year. We thank the parents volunteers who helped us set up the field, clean up after the game, and the other supporting works. Good luck to the older players who are moving up to the majors, and the younger players who will continue with Swallows at the minors.

今日はシーズン最終日、スワローズ対エンジェルズの3位決定戦でした。両チーム共に素晴らしい投球戦にての接戦になりました。最終的にスワローズは4対2で負けてしまいました。
監督の藤川さん、コーチの木戸さん、そして青さん、昨年度の8位より今年度の４位になるまでチームをご指導頂きありがとうございました。
フィールドの設営や撤去などをお手伝い頂いたり、その他の様々なサポートをお手伝い頂いた選手の家族の皆様、どうもありがとうございました。
来季よりメジャーリーグに進む選手達、そして来季もスワローズにてマイナーリーグで戦う選手達、それぞれのリーグでの更なる活躍を期待しています‼
