Eligibility Requirements:
1. All players must hold a valid Hong Kong identity card/valid immigrant visa/have lived permanently in Hong Kong before the start of 2026.
2. All players must be 18 years old or above.
3. All players must be members of the Hong Kong Roundnet Federation, China
4. Each team must consist of two players, and its composition must not be identical to any team participating in the ‘Hong Kong Roundnet Open 2026’.

Team Name:
Players must use the English names of both participants as the team name (e.g. John Lam/Mike Lee).

It‘s official! The Roundnet World Championship 2026 is heading to the City of Lights – Paris, France! 🏆✨ From September 2nd to 6th, 2026, the global roundnet community will come together in one of the world’s most iconic cities for an unforgettable tournament! 🇫🇷✈️

Hong Kong China will be sending a representative team to compete at the highest level! 💪🏻 If you dream of representing Hong Kong in Paris, please take note of our selection criteria:

🌟 Direct Qualification
The Top 2 teams (Champion and Runner-up) in the Open and Women’s divisions of the ”Hong Kong Roundnet Open 2026“ (held on April 25) will earn direct entry into the representative team! 🥇🥈

🏅 Team Selection Trials
In addition to the Open, we will hold the ”Hong Kong Team Selection 2026“ on May 9. The Top 5 teams from these trials will receive priority selection for the national team! 🏅

‼️ Compulsory Criteria
All interested players must meet the following requirements:
1️⃣ Hold a valid HKID card or qualifying visa/residency.
2️⃣ Be aged 18 or above by 2026.
3️⃣ Must be a member of the Hong Kong Roundnet Federation (HKRF).
4️⃣ Must participate in the Selection Trials on May 9th (except for the Top 2 teams from the Open and overseas Hong Kongers).

並將延期至 2026 年下半年進行。

Thank you for your enthusiastic support and anticipation for the ‘King & Queen of the Realm 2026’.

Due to venue availability issues related to the ‘Hong Kong Flower Show 2026’, the tournament originally scheduled for February 28 will be postponed. After careful consideration, the event will now take place in the second half of 2026.

Accordingly, an updated schedule for the 2026 season will be announced in due course. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this adjustment and appreciate your continued understanding.
