Students learn the basics of rugby rules and match-day etiquette, going from “not quite sure what’s happening” to truly getting into the game 🙌

New players bring hunger; together we’ll turn hard work into triumph. One practice, one play, one heartbeat — toward a stronger season and brighter future and shout builds the legacy we own.

I started Pinay Tribe in 2021, reflecting on my rugby journey since 2016, when I helped establish the first domestic helpers' touch rugby team in Hong Kong as part of a group of ambassadors from Enrich. We began with 8 members and named our team EXILES, where I served as captain. Over time, as the original members pursued their own paths, our bonds remained strong—one even became my sister-in-law.

Years passed, and I stopped playing due to issues with new members from exiles . However, I never stopped learning new skills, such as reffing and playing tag and contact rugby, even joining the Valley RFC, which led me to recognition from SCMP and a published story about me.

In 2021, I established my own team, Pinay Tribe, which I still manage today. We've achieved significant milestones, including sponsorship from Prime for our first team jerseys. With 17 members coached by Cris Ng, we've won 4 championship titles in touch and tag rugby. I’m honored by these achievements, which result from our hard work, perseverance, and resilience.

Now, I am choosing my peace and happiness. I’m retiring from playing to focus on sharing the benefits of rugby. This sport fosters physical fitness, teamwork, resilience, confidence, and lasting friendships. It empowers women, challenges stereotypes, and encourages personal growth. Pinay Tribe is dedicated to offering these experiences to everyone.

Good morning everyone.. Since it's been a hot issue na siguro with in the domestic helpers community ang Pinay Tribe which is why I am here to clarify things up. And to all the remaining members / players who hasn't confirmed to me that my former Pinay Tribe members / players Marian and Raine are planning to form a new team and some of the other members.. Please do respect our team and please stop spreading rumors about each other which it can lead to something bad to that person. Each one of us has the right thing to chose which team we want to join. And it's ok.. As long as you all have the courage to reach out to me and let me know. It's not that hard to tell me what is going on. I will respect all your decisions and let's separate peacefully..

Let's all respect each other and be a good person.. If kaya naman ata manahimik nalang po if hndi nyo ikaka yaman or pagkaka perahan.. It's not worth it na manira ng tao.
