🏆【Pickleball World Cup 2026 Hong Kong, China Representative Team Selection Tournament Day 1】🏆

Men's Open Doubles officially kicked off today at tmtp commons in Tuen Mun Town Plaza under Sino Group! 46 teams battled intensely for coveted spots on Team Hong Kong, with every match delivering thrilling action.

Tomorrow brings the Women’s Open Doubles and the Men’s remaining group-stage matches, round of 16 matches, all the way through to the final. Who will earn the honour of wearing the Hong Kong jersey? Let’s look forward to it together!

由中國香港網球總會與信和集團破天荒攜手舉辦嘅「匹克球世界盃2026中國香港代表隊選拔賽」，男、女子公開組賽事將於本週末，喺屯門市廣場「tmtp commons」全新打造嘅「匹克球港隊主場」舉行！🔥

🥇 決賽：6月7日（星期日）約15:20

📆 女子雙打賽事：6月7日（星期日）11:00 開始
🥇 決賽：6月7日（星期日）約16:00

今屆選拔賽報名反應熱烈，男子雙打組別共有46隊參賽，女子雙打組別亦有24隊角逐！勝出隊伍將獲選加入中國香港代表隊，出戰9月喺越南峴港舉行嘅匹克球世界盃力爭佳績。除咗晉身代表隊之外，球員更會獲得中國香港網球總會同信和集團嘅支援，喺「tmtp commons」進行為期兩個月嘅專業訓練，全力備戰世界盃！

比賽當日，歡迎大家嚟現場觀戰，一齊感受呢份匹克球狂熱，見證最強港隊誕生！💪🏻

Organised by the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association (HKCTA) in partnership with Sino Group, the “Pickleball World Cup 2026 Hong Kong, China Representative Team Selection Tournament,” featuring the Men’s and Women’s Open Doubles, will be held this weekend at the Team Hong Kong home court of “tmtp commons” in tmtplaza. 🔥

📆 Men’s Doubles Matches: Starting at 11:00 on Saturday, June 6
🥇 Final: Around 15:20 on Sunday, June 7

📆 Women’s Doubles Matches: Starting at 11:00 on Sunday, June 7
🥇 Final: Around 16:00 on Sunday, June 7

With strong registration interest, 46 teams are competing in the Men’s Open Doubles category, and 24 teams will contend in the Women’s Open Doubles category. The winning teams will be selected to join Team Hong Kong, China, and participate in the Pickleball World Cup taking place in Da Nang, Vietnam, in September. The selected representatives will also receive two months of professional training at the "tmtp commons" Team Hong Kong home court.

Even if you’re not competing, you’re welcome to come watch the action and feel this pickleball frenzy together! 💪🏻

The Jockey Club Tennis Serve – Primary School Pickleball Course (Summer Course) is now open for enrolment! This programme introduces P.4-P.6 students to the exciting world of pickleball through fun, interactive lessons!

With certified coaches, participants will learn basic skills and every necessary knowledge of pickleball, all while staying active for this summer holiday!

Mr. Lam Siu Wai, Chairman of HKCTA Pickleball Committee, attended the Global Pickleball Congress Manila 2025 and the Global Pickleball Federation Annual General Meeting.

During the events, he engaged in in-depth exchanges with pickleball federation representatives from various countries and cities, sharing development experiences and exploring ways to promote the global development of pickleball.

Through this international exchange, our association has strengthened ties with pickleball organizations worldwide, laying a more solid foundation for the development of pickleball in Hong Kong.

中國香港網球總會匹克球委員會主席林少偉先生出席了2025年馬尼拉全球匹克球大會及全球匹克球聯合會年度大會。期間他與各國及地區匹克球總會代表深入交流，分享發展經驗，共同探討如何推動匹克球運動的全球發展。

透過這次國際交流，本會加強了與各國匹克球組織的聯繫，為香港匹克球運動發展奠定更堅實基礎。
