My husband and I also join on most of the Saturdays charity walk whenever we can too. And will keep supporting this great charity. Come and join us too and help out the needy

Hello 👋, I am a 89 year old cardboard carton collector, I earn my livelihood by selling and collecting cardboard boxes. My daughter helps me daily as I am too frail to push my cart alone. Recently, a kindhearted man offered me a job washing dishes to earn some extra money.

My monthly rent for a bed space is 2500 HKD, and without selling the cardboard boxes, I would not be able to afford a place to sleep. There are times when I receive only 1000 HKD, which is insufficient to cover my basic expenses.

Almost every evening, I see a group of people distributing meals for me and my daughter. I am grateful for the nourishing meal boxes they provide, but I refrain from taking an extra box as I have faith in a higher power and do not wish to be greedy.

I spend my days diligently collecting cartons and washing dishes. I am glad that I still have some strength left to continue working and pay for my rent at this age.
