「*為何需要伸展*
常聽人家說因為我很僵硬,所以我不能練習瑜伽。 這就像說 "因為我很胖,所以不能減肥!",硬梆梆更要練習瑜伽呀!
由於我們的久坐不動的生活型態,比起過去的務農打獵,我們更需要保持身體的柔軟和健康。 就算是你有在運動的,身體也會隨著年紀而開始脫水變得硬梆梆(成年人水分平均比兒童少15%,60歲的老年人又比40歲的人少了十幾趴,男少了約14%, 女少了約11% )身體含水量真的是逐年下降。
加上肌肉組織筋膜開始沾黏, 就像動物越老,皮越厚一樣,身體也會變得僵硬而且容易受傷。 不只是肌肉,我們的內臟也有筋膜。
延展身體能夠刺激組織的潤滑液,減緩老化脫水的過程。 而且肌肉與結締組織的沾黏可以打開,幫助肌肉重建健康。內臟也需要空間 來促進血液循環,把好的東西帶進來,壞的東西排出去。」
