HKFC 10s 14th-16th April 2026

The World’s Best 10s!

The HKFC 10s started in 1986 as a social rugby tournament to commemorate the the Hong Kong Football Club's centenary. It has since grown into the world's best 10-a-side tournament, attracting top players and teams from around the globe. The Hong Kong 10s offers an opportunity for club and international players from both hemispheres to play against each other and make friendships. There are few opportunities outside of official internationals and tournaments where such 'north-south' games can be played. Hundreds of past, present and future internationals from over 20 national teams have played in the HKFC 10s over the years including Jonah Lomu, Jerome Kaino, Conrad Smith, George Smith, Mils Muliaina, George Gregan, Justin Marshall, Brian Lima, Waisale Serevi, Bob Skinstad, Nick Farr-Jones, Graeme Bachop, Rory and Tony Underwood, Gavin and Scott Hastings, Mark and Glenn Ella, Scott Gibbs, Clive Woodward and many more.

A massive congratulations to Jimmy Maher on his appointment to the Highlanders coaching staff for the 2027 Super Rugby season!

Jimmy has been an integral part of our coaching setup at the Hong Kong 10s, bringing invaluable experience, passion, and rugby knowledge to the Shogun family.

It’s always special to see members of the Shogun family making strides on the international rugby stage, and we couldn’t be prouder of this well-deserved achievement.

Wishing you every success in this exciting new chapter, Jimmy! Once a Shogun, always a Shogun!

From wearing the Shogun jersey to helping lead the next generation of All Blacks Sevens.

A huge congratulations to Scott Curry on his appointment as Assistant Coach of the New Zealand Sevens team.

It was an honour to have Scott return to his Shogun roots and join our coaching team in Hong Kong last year. His leadership, humility and knowledge of the game made a lasting impression on everyone around him.

We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in his coaching journey and wish Scott, Willie Rickards, Liam Messam and the entire All Blacks Sevens programme every success in this exciting new chapter.

Hong Kong, you gave us everything.

Big tackles, flying tries, towering lineouts and moments of pure Shogun energy; but the best memories were created together, both on and off the pitch.

From Wan Chai to the Hong Kong 10s, this was more than another tournament. It was rugby, friendship, laughter and another unforgettable chapter in the Shogun journey.

Swipe through some of our favourite moments from a week we will always remember.

Hong Kong will always be special.
