Ayla’s almost one, our life has been turned topsy-turvy (with joy), we’re a happy little family of three, and it’s my favorite “festival” of the year 👻. So it’s befitting for us to use an adjective that tells the world about the year we’ve been having…INCREDIBLE!

First up, a big thank you to Alex and Jenny from VRC / SJCOBA for organising the event, providing the medals and souvenirs and supplying the much appreciated refreshments. With the enforced cancellation of our own beach tournament for the second year running, this was a very welcome and much needed occasion to promote the sport in our community.

HKBWP put out our usual three teams of the Boys, Dudes and Uncles, with the local fraternity strongly represented by a very youthful trio of SJC Students, Josephians and Kennedy7. Notable absentees were stalwarts of previous years from all three of our teams who relocated in the past year- Ollie, York, Haus and Tom- who were all dearly missed.

Thank you everyone for your participation and enthusiasm. We hope to see more of you at practice in the rest of the year.

We don’t just toss a ball around. We also contribute to the wellbeing of our oceans.
