Most people treat recovery as what you do when something goes wrong. It is actually the part of training where the work turns into results, and doing it in the wrong order costs you.

What we tell our clients: heat after Lagree and strength, cold after conditioning or on a day you have not lifted. The one to avoid is the plunge straight after a heavy strength session. Lifting creates an inflammatory response that is part of how muscle rebuilds, and cold interrupts it.

And if you want to do the whole thing properly, we are running a session with Ice Bath Club at their new Central club on Tuesday 23 September. Strength first, recovery after.

Sauna, magnesium bath and cold plunge are in the carousel, with when to use each and for how long. Save it.

The fitness enthusiast is looking to deepen their personal practice and master the mechanics of the Megaformer. And the dedicated student who wants the ultimate challenge in a method nobody else in Hong Kong can certify them in.

Fifty hours across eight sessions in October at Quarry Bay, led by a Master Trainer with over a decade of Lagree expertise. You leave with a Level 1 certification recognised at any Lagree studio in the world.
