✨【Ocean Park Performance Highlights】✨

This past Sunday, we completed a special performance at Ocean Park! This experience taught us a lot, from positioning and refining the quality of our movements to dancing without relying on mirrors and focusing on counting beats—every detail helped us improve.

On the day of the performance, the venue rehearsal made us realize the importance of adapting to the stage environment and gave us a glimpse of how professional dancers prepare backstage before a show. When we stepped onto the stage, although nervous, we worked hard to greet the audience with smiles and enjoy every second of the performance.

After the performance, our teachers reminded us backstage to thank the hardworking staff who supported us throughout the day. Thanks to their efforts, the performance went so smoothly. This experience taught us so much, and we hope to do even better next time!

✨【海洋公園演出小記】✨

剛過去的星期日，我們在海洋公園完成了一場特別的演出！這次經驗讓我們學會了不少，從排位、練習動作的質感，到不依賴鏡子跳舞、專注數拍子，每一個細節都讓我們更進步。

當天的場地綵排也讓我們意識到適應舞台環境的重要，見識到專業舞蹈員演出前在後台準備的環境。站上舞台的那一刻，雖然緊張，但我們努力用笑容迎接觀眾，享受表演的每一秒。

演出後，老師們在後台教導我們要感謝當天辛苦幫忙的哥哥姐姐，因為有他們的支持，演出才能這麼順利。這次經歷讓我們學到了很多，希望下一次能做得更好！

因很多有興趣參加的同學反映仍要上學，我們的聖誕派對將延期到23日和24日！🎄🎉 希望大家都能來參加這個一年一度的派對，千萬別錯過喔！✨

This shows a strong performance, with over 91% achieving Honours and above.

It's important to note that not all dance examinations result in a passing grade, a fact that is often overlooked. Many parents may assume that passing is easy when they see their children's results. In reality, it is the hard work and dedication of both our teachers and students that have allowed us to maintain a 100% pass rate for 20 consecutive years.

Dance is a beautiful art form, and it is not solely about exams and competitions. Examinations serve as a tool to help us systematically train, enabling students to better understand and enhance their skills. We encourage you to continue supporting our students as they pursue the true essence of art in their dance journey and enjoy every step of the learning process!

19歲香港女生何睿烔，勇奪冠軍！

才華橫溢出新秀2024”大決賽於11月24日晚上舉行，“過江龍”何睿烔（19歲）擊敗其他11名參賽者，爆冷奪得冠軍。賽前呼聲高的馬䲰娗（28歲）獲得亞軍，季軍則頒給仲偉杰（25歲）。備受看好的蔡承峻獲得第四名，呂佳穎則未入前五名。

本屆大決賽由權怡鳳和DJ吳萬隆（Jeff Goh）擔任主持，香港影星吳君如、林峯和本地阿哥李銘順擔任評審。

從香港獨自來新加坡念書的何睿烔，是本屆最年輕的參賽者。宣布得獎時她表現得錯愕激動，在後台接受媒體訪問時，仍無法相信自己是冠軍。“我一直很有自信，覺得自己可以進入前五名，但是沒有想過可以拿冠軍，所以非常驚訝。”她沒有駕照，如今贏得轎車，開心地說：“我立馬就去考駕照！”

**🎉 Congratulations to Kirsten Gwyneth Yiu! 🥈**

Our student Kirsten achieved **2nd place** in the Jazz category at the **IYDC International Young Dancer Competition**! ✨

Despite falling ill before the competition, Kirsten’s strong foundation and regular practice allowed her to secure a satisfactory result. This highlights the importance of consistent training and a solid foundation, which enabled her to maintain a high level of performance.

We are absolutely overjoyed to share the fantastic news that our amazing student, **Mairead Pollard**, has secured **1st place** in the Modern Jazz category at the **Thailand Asia Pacific Dance Competition**! 🇹🇭✨

Mairead’s journey to this prestigious competition began with her outstanding performance at the **Kangaroo Cup** in Hong Kong, where she won and earned the honor of representing Hong Kong on the international stage. Organized by **CSTD**, this competition featured some of the most talented dancers from across the Asia Pacific region.

Despite facing injuries on both legs, her determination overcame fear and pain led her to this incredible victory. Her journey is a true testament to the power of perseverance and passion. It inspires us all to never give up, no matter the challenges.

采妘 自我們舞蹈學校開辦前便已跟隨 Ms Chan 學習， 越十三年之久。她剛完成了香港演藝學院GYDP課程，並被錄取為全職學生，於暑假後正式開始展開新旅程。

這些年來，我們見證了 采妘 的成長，不僅在舞蹈技術上精進，更成為了一位有思想、有理想的舞者。她在 Les Danseurs 接受了多樣化的訓練，包括芭蕾、爵士、抒情舞和現代舞，使她擁有了豐富的動作語言和表現力。 而她對舞蹈的熱情和開放的學習態度，讓她成功考進了現代舞系。

Heartfelt Congratulations to Student Athena Chung ! 🌟

Dear Dance School Family,

Athena has been learning from Ms. Chan even before our dance school was established, for over thirteen years. She recently completed the GYDP program at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and has been accepted as a full-time student, beginning her new journey after this summer holiday.

Over the years, we have witnessed Athena's growth, not only in her dance techniques but also as a thoughtful and aspiring dancer. At Les Danseurs, she received diverse training in ballet, jazz, lyrical dance, and modern dance, which enriched her movement vocabulary and expressiveness. Her passion for dance and open-minded learning attitude led her to successfully enter the modern dance department.

The selection process was highly competitive, with many talented dancers from overseas participating, and Athena was one of the few local dancers selected this year. Her hard work and talent have been recognized, which is the best reward for her years of dedication. This also fills us with extremely gratified.

Let's all congratulate Athena on reaching this significant milestone，and look forward to seeing her continue to shine and achieve even more remarkable accomplishments in her future dance career.
