Welcome, freshmen!

As first year students that are starting a brand new chapter of their lives, you probably have a whole list of things you want to do. Joining a club is probably one of them, and maybe learning a new sport and making new, long-lasting friends might be another!

In that case, why not join the Archery Club 🏹? It's an easy sport to pick up, especially with our Orientation Day and Training Courses, both taught by an Olympic-level coach. After that, we have regular practice every week with the same coach and friendly members who would love to get to know you better.

Sign up during the two days of Reg Day, and you'll get a bonus discount on top! Even if you can't make it to our Reg Day booth, you can still sign up online during Reg Day and get the discount. As Wayne Gretzky once said, 'you miss 100% of the shots you don't take'. Try it out! 🔥

Bullseye! Our first Superpass Dinner hosted on 24.04.2026 was a great success. Great food, great games, and even greater company with our undergraduate students and Mr. Lam Siu Tong coming together for this event.
We laughed, we competed, and we sent each other off with full hearts (and full stomachs) before exams.

經典史詩《奧德賽》，提及到奥德修斯嘅凱旋回歸。佢為一把極為重磅嘅弓上弦，將箭射穿12把斧頭上嘅小孔，一顯其君主氣派。

事後有學者討論，點解在場108個人都做唔出，只有奧德修斯成功？係咪單憑佢力量驚人？我認為係佢幾經歷練，戰後歸來所得到嘅一種平靜、神態淡定，令佢與眾不同。

大家艱苦讀書，辛苦走完呢三個月嘅學術路程，好快就要迎來考試。我哋要向奧德修斯學習，保持淡定，揸穩支筆，努力發揮，爭取好成績。

Hark! Do you know of Odysseus' triumph? When he returned home from his journey, he had strung his rigid bow, and his arrow weaved through dozens of holes to prove that he was the King Of Ithaca.

Scholars debate on Odysseus' feat in that scene. How did such a figure pull it off when others couldn't? Was it his brute strength? Nay. Out of the 108 suitors surely one could match his strength. Thus, I digress, that it was Odysseus' calmness, a sense of peace from the end of a journey, which others could have felt.

Now, after a grueling odyssey of academics, the time of exams illy descends upon us. Yet, steady yourself; calm yourself and weave your pen or laptop (or arrows, who knows what your exam format is) through the gaps of Ds Cs and Bs and have your results land in As.

Having trouble feeling calm you say? Well, come participate in Archery Club's Superpass event to rest your anxieties, even if for a brief moment, and steel yourself for the As you deserve.
