From the opening tip to the final buzzer, SCI Albion brought incredible energy to our final game of our Dream Summer Prison Tour! Playing in front of a packed gym of inmates and staff, the atmosphere was electric. When asked about the game the inmates mentioned it felt like “they weren’t in prison anymore”. Thank you SCI Albion for having us and being great hosts we look forward to coming back in the near future!

Some additional information about SCI Albion:

SCI Albion houses two specialized programs—the Neurodevelopmental Residential Treatment Unit (NRTU) and the Neurocognitive Care Unit (NCCU)—tailored to support incarcerated individuals with unique developmental, cognitive, and neurological needs.

NRTU Purpose: Designed specifically for men diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders or intellectual disabilities where unlike standard cell blocks, the NRTU incorporates sensory-friendly accommodations like dimmed lighting with special covers, calming blue-painted walls, and accessible fidget toys and houses a smaller population (around 45 men) to reduce overstimulation, prevent bullying, and allow staff to focus on individualized treatment and social skills.

NCCU Purpose: Focuses on neurocognitive health and care needs, such as supporting aging individuals experiencing cognitive decline, dementia, or Alzheimer’s-related challenges. The unit’s opening has been supported by internal inmate organizations like ANIVO, which hold fundraisers and educational events in coordination with organizations like the Alzheimer’s Association to promote brain health awareness behind bars.

Баскетбольний клуб «Рівне» робить ще один важливий крок у своєму розвитку.

У рамках поглиблення довгострокової співпраці з американською баскетбольною організацією Dubois Dream наш клуб офіційно змінює назву. Починаючи з сезону Суперліги GGBET 2026/27, команда виступатиме під назвою:

🏀БК "Рівне Dream" - ОШВСМ🔥

Це рішення символізує не просто нову назву. Це відображення спільного бачення, довіри та амбітних цілей, які ми будуємо разом із нашими американськими партнерами.

Співпраця між БК "Рівне" та Dubois Dream вже принесла чимало позитивних результатів. Саме завдяки цьому партнерству до нашої команди приєдналися якісні американські гравці, клуб отримав нові можливості для розвитку, а міжнародні зв'язки стали ще міцнішими. Сьогодні ми робимо наступний логічний крок.

Попереду — новий сезон, нові виклики та цілі. Ми прагнемо не просто залишатися конкурентними, а продовжувати розвивати клуб за сучасними стандартами. Ми щиро дякуємо Albert Varacallo та DuBois Dream за довіру, професіоналізм та віру в наш спільний проєкт.

Це великий день для нашого клубу. І ми впевнені — це лише початок.
