That which we cannot see can still affect us.
We have completed our Galactic Journey to the planets visible to our naked eye from Earth, but wait, there's more!
Our outer gas planets, Uranus and Neptune, orbit the sun billions of kilometers away. Even with our best technology, we rarely see them, but their gravity is always shaping the paths of their neighbors.
These beings call our attention to the parts of us we don't always show to the world - our inner genius and weirdness, our dreams, doubts, and unknowns.
Dance with us this Monday, January 15th, on an extension of our Galactic Journey where we explore, and perhaps confront, that which we tend to hide but needs expression so we can fully live.

Mars
Mars orbits the Sun at a slower pace than Earth, as a result, its movement in the sky appears slower compared to the stars and other planets. Mars is often one of the brightest objects in the night sky, rivalling Venus, uhum yes rivalling, with its mythological reference to war. Its reddish hue distinguishes it from other celestial bodies, making it easily recognizable.
In astrology, Mars represents energy, action, and assertiveness. It is associated with qualities like passion, courage, and ambition. Within mythology, this reference to war is also self-efficacy, ability to protect self, sexuality, assertive, movement, anger, planet of fornication, ego, desire, boundaries, passion…
Come dance move shake out your Mars on the floor on Monday… YES the end of the year is near. Let’s recollect, give it our all and celebrate the clear edges of this planet’s teachings.

On Monday, 30th of October, we are dancing on Earth.
On Earth, in Earth, with Earth, for Earth, because of Earth.
We are one with Earth. Inseparable of it. We are forming a vast closed-loop system with it/her.
Gaia theory in science talks about the in-separateness of biological functions from each other. We are grouped in different density, yet we can not study any form of life in a vacuum. Every process depends on other processes taking place, and this way we all become part of a huge network of interconnected web in full interdependence with both living and non living forms.
As Maggie Clifford sings in her song “Earth our body, water my blood, air my breath, fire my spirit”, we will dance reflecting on, connecting with and deeply experiencing our bodies. We will explore the outwards energy of “apana” which sustains us with fuel for our worldly life. Earthing and grounding as a concept allows release (emotional, physical and mental), while being held in the safety of Mother Earth’s gravity without which we would just be floating particles flying around.
We will tap into gratefulness for our bodily experience and sustenance, and form a greater connection with the vehicle we are granted, with those around us, and for our Home of incarnation (for this lifetime): Planet Earth.

Dear Conscious Dancers,
We are dancing this Monday 24 April, 7-9pm, to the conscious dance practice of “3degreesdance” and the theme of “Burning with Love”.
*Burning with Love*
Our world, our universe, our God are all, at their core, Love. Love is a feeling we can all feel with all its sweetness and light, as it is at times.
But, there are also other times, when this divine, universal Love has a nature that transforms anyone who is fortunate to have it. At these times, universal Love will tear up our insides out and replace them with something better. It will touch us, kiss us, in a way that we will never be the same again. In fact, in coming a little bit closer to us each time, this Burning Divine Love inherent in our gift of life, will shift our point of view a little bit more to the spiritual, a little bit closer to the truest expression of our self.
This Monday, we dance to the tune of Universal Love, we melt into the 3degrees of our consciousness in this love and we examine our fears and openness in receiving it; in being shaped by it. And we support one another, by our presence, by the sacredly held space, and we grow, we feel the burning of love inside and out.

Dear Conscious Dancers,
We are dancing this Monday 3 April , 7-9pm, at Dance Concept on the theme of *Allowance*.
To allow oneself to be as they are, can often simply mean to allow the permission to lean in and say yes to the full spectrum of what is Here.
To lean in with totality and dive into the heart beat of this moment.
Allowance to savour
Allowance to bask
Allowance to simmer, sit and sing
In discomfort or joy, can we lean in and say Yes! Can we lean in and make art from pain? Art from pleasure?
On the dance floor we cultivate allowance to be with and move with the arising moment and the system of pulsations and sensations in the body. We allow these arisings to be information that we can dance with, we can move with , we can flirt with…
It is in the full permission that we can access and touch the full range of our humannness and create form & shape, movement & majesty.
Let us dance our selves alive, in full unconstrained allowance 🤍
Dear Conscious Dancers,
We are dancing this Monday 27 March , 7-9pm, at Dance Concept on the theme of *On Trust*.
Trust’s best friend is faith. At times our faith is faint, so we trust less. We have had many experiences that alert us of the risks and request a stubborn stand within our comfort zones. Seldom do we realize that we also have had plenty of occasions where things did work out wonderfully, where we did feel capable and managed to perform things that were difficult.
We just might not see it, because it happened in a process unfolding moment by moment, a process to be recognised not only after, but as it occurs in the now.
To trust more, we can look at how birds and squirrels get fed daily without much worry, so how on Earth would we not be granted what we need? An oak tree trusts its genetic blueprint to develop into what it was programmed to grow into. Can we trust the same?
Evolution wants us to live, to succeed, and to emerge. Life sustains us. We are in favor. We are just requested to consciously align ourselves with staying in favor. Now. Day by day, minute by minute, we align. We stay present, do our best without judgement. The process takes over the rest.
On the 27th of March, we dance in trust.
*Femme*
Fluidity, movement, nourishment, care, creative power, collaboration, heartspace, timeless presence, harmony, beauty, awe, the sublime.
Wordly systems called her woo-woo, hysterical, witch, the shadow, called her the profane, the saint.
Distorted views on the feminine energy hurt not only women but the entire Gaia system, called Earth, that includes women, men, children, animals, bugs, plants, the soil, air, water, the rest of the elements, the collective consciousness and our future evolution.
On the 20th of March we dance for the femme within. To invite her out of the shadows, to recognise, honour, fuse and integrate her power in its full presence for a fuller life, and fuller world.

Clarity
Clarity finds its origins in Latin as Clarus (Clear) and expands in its Middle English origin in the sense: ‘glory and divine splendour’ (Oxford Languages).
Sensing both these meanings perhaps there is a quality of “ease” present: something divine that is able to land. The delight when glasses makes something blurry easy to see or headphones makes a conversation easy to hear. We find ourselves more ready to relax. Our nervous system can find its ease and flow, its ‘glory or divine splendour’.
Somatically, clarity could translate as a strong sense of where we are in time and space: a starting and end point of movement, a sense of direction, proprioception and planes of movement. We express ourselves in our dance with clarity in shapes, form, lines of movement, direction and texture in the energetic quality of our movement.
The music we hear, translates into form and shape in our bodies, sensation of the beat the timbre, the harmony translating our expression and we give form …
Although what is clearly heard by someone in the music, may not be clearly heard by another, thus clarity is perceived differently. Every body’s translation/shaping is different, and can vary at any given point in time and space.
Can we find a sense of ease in the midst of differences, chaos and the unknown?
Show up, dance your dance… and perhaps unexpectedly, ever so lightly… a sense of splendour lands brightly, clear as a butterfly on a spring flower.
*Begin Anew*
With the arrival of Spring we welcome new beginnings in our outer and inner worlds. The question is not what shall we do newly but who ought we become.
A choice, available to us every second. At times we act from a place of fear, and we see the results of fear playing out in our life. Other moments when we choose to renew our selves in love, life buds naturally, as spring does, in total sync with Nature’s intention.
On the 6th of March we dance ourselves into presence, the one and only true starting point ever available to us, Earth dwellers.

*Reconciliation*
“In failing to reconcile with myself, I would only hide the Spirit of Creator from myself, and not myself from the Spirit of Creator.” ~ St. Augustine
The process of Reconciliation is the process of restoration of a relationship with our Self or with Others.
Living in harmony with ourself, involves considering reality as it is, not imposing our own beliefs or culture or myths on it. It involves having a sacred space where we can truly admit and voice our flaws, and to discuss them with our own Spirit and our Creator in an atmosphere of acceptance, vulnerability and forgiveness.
We may not always be able to forgive others, but in the eyes of the Creator energy we are always forgiven, provided we take the first step towards a process of self reflection and abandonment of shame.
Join us on Monday on the dance floor to explore ways of reaching into the depths of our Self reconciliation and from there to a reconciliation with Others.
*Self Love*
Love is our intrinsic nature. However often we seek love externally, looking for the other half to complete us in a relationship. Taoism believes that each man or women is complete as a small universe when Yin and Yang in balance, where self love is the center. Only when we complete ourselves, can we connect in harmony as one.
With self love, we allow others to be their unique self without expecting them to change in the name of love.
Self love is instinct. Any doing and an external focus take away its innocence and purity. When we are love itself, it naturally flows out to the world without any intention or efforts. Tao is the simplest, so is love.
Join us this *Monday, February 20* to connect and experience the flow of *self love* .
*Unhurried*
“To walk with Creator, you must go at walking pace” - Wang Mingdao
In most of our world today, there is frenetic energy; a tendency to value fast orientation and devalue a slow one. Voices both within, and without, seek to keep us hurried and addicted to speed. Finding freedom and recovery may, for some of us, be a one-day-at-a-time journey.
When we numb our tiredness, it is never a local anaesthesia. Numbing affects every facet of our lives, and this often becomes a cause to be asleep and susceptible to misguided impulse and action taking. Our habit of numbing, can also look like escaping, self-distracting, avoiding or hiding. Real rest on the other side, awakens us to the presence of Spirit with us, deepens us into creativity, vision, energy and courage. With rest coming first, the soil becomes fertile and the very best of seeds grow inside our very own Tree of Life.
Join us this Monday on the dance floor, to reflect and explore each of our meanings for an unhurried life.

*Connection*
Just as everything is connected, everything moves in cycles. The rings in the stem of the tree of life reminds us that even the beginning and end is connected.
This new year of the water rabbit marks the beginning and the end of a cycle. The Covid-19 social distancing in HK impacted us on many levels, resulting in perhaps preferring distancing habits and facing fears.
Are we real about the vulnerability of our need for closeness and touch, and remember how breathing connects us all?
Breathing can be like singing and dancing together - a birth right we may claim. Let’s celebrate the growth resulted from new beginnings on Monday and remind ourselves to stay aware of our connectedness, even in the challenging presence of pain.
Coming home to ourselves, we can connect authentically with each other. Don’t miss a chance to dance 🙂
Let’s aim to connect this new year, this new cycle, this Monday.
*Tree of Life*
“As above, so below. No tree can grow to heaven unless it’s roots reach equal length below.”
In this garden of earth, our “home”, we are called to be keepers and tenders. Among the trees of this garden, is the Tree of Life.
The Tree of Life holds within it biodiversity, evolution between the living and the extinct, beauty, strength and intricate interdependence. Guided by our collective wisdom and inspired by our soul, we will explore our sacred calling to restore and preserve the intricate web of life, both within and without. We will start this new season, as healing humans, for ourselves and for others, for present and for future generations.
Join us Monday on the dance floor to explore our roots, branches and all that supports and expands us in between.
*Generosity*
“May Generosity hang from the branches of my life so that all may see that I am rooted in Creator’s love.”
It may seem obvious that being generous and giving our time, resources and talents without the expectation of return, involves a loss and a spending to meet the needs of others. However in reality, this is not so, not all all.
Generosity has the power, by way of a simple act, to create a ripple effect that always comes back to you. In generosity, the human spirit synthesises the fruit of the Spirit, it alchemically processes the elements of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. And it also contains a simple truth, that generosity cannot be faked, it cannot be used to achieve self-serving goals.
But what does it mean to be generous? What do we feel it means to not be generous? Why are we being generous to others? Are we being generous to ourself?
On 16 Jan, Let’s explore generosity on the dance floor!
Last week we danced in Gratitude for the year before and the one in here.

*Gratitude*
As the New Year begins, let's take some time on the dance floor to reflect on the year just past, and feel and express our up-welling gratitude for what we have received.
Gratitude is a present moment experience, available when we are willing to notice and accept the ups and downs of life. Conscious dance gives us a safe environment to connect with our lives' achievements and challenges, learning, failures and successes, allowing the body's wisdom to communicate the truth of its experiences. Together we may express our joys, sorrows, angers and loves, finding our way into gratitude.
Tonight we dance:
*Nimbus Nebulae*
Every system, from the most microcosmic to macrocosmic, has its way of connecting and relating. And every material and immaterial substance, however seemingly indefinite, has its defining role in this Mystery and its truth is endlessly reflected back to us.
The galactic is just as much within us as it is hovering above in the vastness of the sky. Most of the atoms in our body were formed inside of stars, supernovae, and neutron star collisions - we are made of stardust indeed. This timeless reflection is where reality emerges.
Journey with us on the (inter)stellar dance floor, where we come to experience our luminous moving bodies as stardusts, the celestial stitched inside of us. We connect the form to the formless, the abstract to the absolute.
With gravity, as the common denominator for life on earth and beyond, we explore its force and presence in space on the dance floor. We welcome every movement as motion, directed or freed, as constellations that exist through possible states of togetherness.
Last Monday we danced
*Happy Herd*
Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”
- Michael Jordan -
Nothing brings out the true happiness and heart of a group better than going into battle together.
On Monday, this battle will be a journey that we take together into different forms of herd leadership: the herd that preys on the weak when it smells blood; the one that kicks others when they are down; another that watches others tackling the hard problems; and finally the herd that understands the “power of us” and mobilizes the team’s full efforts to be successful.
For a world to be guided by true leaders we must become individuals who can take their unconscious spirit, intuition and instinct into a process of making it fully conscious. We must transcend the space of the mysterious, the untranslatable and the unteachable and transform it into lessons of power, collaboration, and “freedom-through-relationship” that create a shared leadership that taps the talents of the entire herd.
Being a Happy Herd is about being powerful, together, stretching beyond power plays that cause havoc and surfaces of all cultural, religious, political or other persuasions.
*Free your body *
Free your body leads the way to free your mind and unfold the wings of the soul to fly.
Dancing and singing are human nature and essential ways to express ourselves. But nowadays, people retreat to be in the audience’s seat to listen to the professional sing, and watch professional dance and are reluctant to do it ourselves.
At Conscious Dance Monday’s dancing floor, we show up and move our bodies to explore and express ourselves.
This free-form dance releases the locks in our joints, muscles, blood, and qi, which lead to unlocked emotional blocks, such as frustration, tension, fear, anger, and sadness. Using movements, the nonverbal way, is the safest exit to release stress and heal ourselves.
When body-mind is flowing together, the wings of our soul have a sky to fly, where intuition, imagination, creativity, and wisdom will manifest in spaciousness.
*Pack Pride*
"A flock of birds. Pack of wolves. Team of horses. Army of ants. School of fish. A group of people. A Collective togetherness. Humankind stands with awe and curiosity in front of this unpredictable, mysterious and emergent animal behavior.
We know that to survive and solve problems, these groups react extremely fast: first individual units note the danger and communicate it; they synchronize and form a response to predators.
We ask, how will the behavior of individuals influence the behavior of an entire group? And what does it have to do with humankind?
It might have to do everything, as we also coexist in groups, herds, and packs.
Modern society, however, seems to deny this very intrinsic nature of the homo sapiens. Removing us from one another creates alienation and a mental health pandemic alerting the entire community of Planet Earth.
Interdependence is, however, only possible when we learn who we are as individual units within our group and when our role in it is intrinsic, not forced. Nobody forces a fish to be part of a school. They are in it because that is who they are.
We dance on the 28th of November to reinstate and reclaim this collective intelligence, our birthright to belong to something "bigger than me", whatever form that might take.
*The first of our new series togetherness: Weaving Webs*.
Weaving and forming a web that connects, takes action and dedication. For spiders weaving webs are critical for their survival. Through the pandemic, we have learned that paramount for our survival and motivation is our interconnectedness with others for resources and support. Recent studies takes this knowledge to challenge Maslow’s classic hierarchy of needs, with a less individualistic view: perhaps our growth as a human species depends on connection?
During the height of the pandemic we saw how the arts can bring connection, and give hope and a possibility to dream beyond survival. On the dance floor we get to let new possibilities loose to create and dream. When weaving this tapestry on the floor, we honor both the picturesque side and the flipside with the knots and loose ends as equal parts of creation …
Let’s activate our senses on the dance floor this Monday to discover and experience weaving interconnection …

Rest/ Digest
In a state of rest our bodies have time to integrate, integrate experience, integrate times of connection and movement. In a state of rest our bodies have time to metabolise, to digest and restore. In a state of rest our bodies have space for healing, for recalibration and recapitulation.
As our collective has journeyed together, through this new stage and iteration of CDM - this last session to our 5 week cycles honours a bookend of sorts. A space to reflect, a space to reep the fruits of the harvest. A space finally rest - the work is done - the foundations have been laid - the efforts have been placed - it is time for celebration!
Allowing the natural course of the efforting to churn out outcome and reward.
On the dance floor we explore the the energy of rest in its various manifestations - from a point of stillness - to a point of expansion. From a point of quietude to a point of joy and elation.
we look forward to dancing with you on this final leg of our series!
We dance - 7th of November, Monday, 7-9pm for
Harvest
When we plant our seeds, we might bury them in soil - away from sunlight, away from raindrops, away from sight, away from awareness for anyone not involved, away from any guarantee that we will see it again.
With faith that the seeds will transform, we nourish them with nature’s help. Some seeds transform into sprouts that break through the soil and reward us with optimism. Our faith well-placed, we nourish those sprouts to maturity. Some bear fruit and some fruits ripen.
Whether it is fruits, roots, stems, or leaves, the fullest potential of those seeds materializes. We can receive, celebrate, and share it, feeding ourselves and each other.
What potential is finally materializing for you?
How will you harvest it?
How will you appreciate it, and with whom?
This Monday, explore, celebrate, and appreciate the full embodiment of what your seeds have become and how they feed your intentions for the next cycle. We look forward to dancing with you on November 7th
