had been one of my dream tricks back in the early days of my pole training.

The first slide here was when I finally accomplished the “perfect line”. It was almost two and a half years after my first attempt in slide two.

I can’t remember how much time I spent on training my flexibility and polishing my skills to get there. All I can say is and you can only realise how far you’ve gone one day when you look back.

RIP and thank you to Jamilla Deville, the creator of this trick, for being one of the greatest pole OG, icons and pioneers in building and growing the community which makes an accessible sport and art form for everyone.

That “I finally did it” feeling! ✨ Do you still remember your first win at something you’ve been working on for so long?

I remember when this felt impossible. My straight legs inverted V to the . 10 years ago today, I made it and I nailed it. Swipe right to see my journey.
