1 day to Dinaric Rally.

Tonight, the bivouac is still quiet, but that won't last. Tomorrow it starts filling with tents, bikes, vans and riders. Saturday, the bikes go through checks and by evening, everyone's at Knin Fortress. Somewhere in there will also be Felix Predescu. He hasn't missed one yet.

160 riders. 23 countries. The biggest Dinaric Rally we've ever had.
The mountains can wait one more day.

Apparently, tyre inspections are now a group activity.

To us, it’s part of Saturday’s programme. To Mali Gromovi, it’s a race.

Their helmets are almost bigger than they are. The bikes and quads look huge next to them. They still ride as fast as they can, usually with the biggest smiles. On Saturday, Mali Gromovi are coming to the Dinaric Rally bivouac for their mini rally and tyre rolling challenge.

Come by, bring the kids and cheer for them.

Before the rally starts, there is a lot to build.

There is still concrete to mix, wood to cut, things to paint, cables to run and quite a bit to finish before everyone arrives in Knin. In a few days, this will be where the bikes come back and everyone ends up after the stage. The bar is getting some extra attention, of course. Priorities.
